Y/n's P.O.V~
"Princess Y/n." My personal guard said from behind me as I was heading to my room. His name is Sean but I call him jack. "Yes, Jack?" I said turning to him with a smile. "Yer father wanted me to accompany ye to town today, to get some supplies ye were wanting." Jack said with a grin. I almost forgot that I had asked my father that morning if I could go out to get some (writing, art, reading, etc...) supplies. I could just have one of the servants or maid to do it for me, but I hate to make them do things I can do myself. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot!" I said with a look of realization. "Ye were always forgetful since we were Young, princess." He said a chuckle. I pouted at this, but knew he was right.

After I got my cloak on, we headed to town. We walked since taking a carrige would attract attention. "So...I've heard yer father has been trying to get ye to marry a wealthy prince. How's that going?" He asked with a amused smirk. I frowned at this. "Ugh, don't remind me. Father said I have to meet another candidate this week." I said rolling my eyes in annoyance. "I thought yer father said you could marry anyone of yer choosing?" He asked in confusion. "Well, since I've been taking so long, he said he's just trying to help me pick them." I said with an annoyed sigh. "At least he isn't forcing ye to someone ye don't like?" Jack said with a small smile. I smiled slighly and nodded in agreement.

We got to town, and walked to the town store. We went inside to get my supplies. I quickly went to the asile that had my supplies and grabbed them while jack waited outside. "Shut up! Don't talk to me anymore!" I heard a woman yell before stoing off. I looked up to see a girl storm away from a guy with wavy black hair that kinda went in his black eyes. He was wearing a cloak like myself but had his hood down. He sighed as the stomped out of the store. I got my supplies, and walked over to him, to make sure he was alright. "Hey...you okay?" I asked him in concern. "Uh, yea...just got in a fight with a friend of mine is all." He siad with a small smile. I tilted my head but nodded in understanding. "Well, I hope you two can make up soon." I said with a small smile. "Yea, me too. Who are you?" He asked looking at me in curiosity. "Oh! Er...it's Silver! You?" I said with a small smile. "Oh sorry, the names Dark." He said with a polite smile. I smiled at his manners. "Well, nice to meet you, Dark, but I have to go. If I don't my friend out there is gonna kill me." I said with a chuckle. Dark also chuckled. "Yea, I know how that can be." He said with a nod.

After I said bye to Dark and checked out, I walked out of the store only to not see Jack anywhere. I sighed in frustration. I looked around till I found him buying some cookies, making me chuckle. "Should've known..." I said with a roll of my eyes. I walked over to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. He looked at me in surprise. He gave me apologetic smile. I rolled my eyes with a smile. I noticed a candy shop across the road. I grinned and pulled at Jack's hand with a pout. "What is it, pri-Silver?" He asked using my fake name I always use. "Candy!" I said pointing at the candy store across the road. "Alright, we can go, but don't get to much or yer father will be upset." He said with a small smile. I grinned with an excited nod, before dragging him to the candy store, causing Jack to laugh. I ran into the store with a grin and started looking for my favorite candies. Jack watched me with a chuckle and shake of his head. "Hey cutie." I heard an employer call out to me with a smirk. "Hey! I'm not cute! I'm sassy!" I said with a dramatic flip of my hair. Jack and the employee laughed at my usual antics. The workers here only know me by Silver but we have always been pretty close. "So the usual today, Silver?" The old man at the counter asked with a raised eyebrow. I grinned and nodded. I quickly grabbed a baggie, and ran up to th counter with an excited grin. The old man laughed at my excitement. After paying for the candy, I put it in my bag that was stopped aross my shoulder under my cloak.
As me and Jack we're about to walk out of the store, we both heard a girl's scream from the street. We looked at each other, before we both ran out to help. I noticed a girl was being held hostage by some bandits. I recognized the girl as the one from the store I met Dark earlier. "Hey let my little sister go!" I heard a green haired guy that looked alot like Jack yell at the stranger in anger and fear. "Let her go!" I saw Dark yell walking towards them angrily. He stopped when they pressed a dagger on the poor girls neck. The girl wasn't scared though, she just growled at the man in anger. "Let me go, jerkface!" The small girl yelled in anger, glaring up at her captor. I pulled out my hidden dagger with anger. What? Did you really just think cause I'm a princess, that I can't fight? "Wait, Silver. Let me go first, so ye don't get harmed. Yer father would kill me I'd ye did. I sighed with a nod. "Hey! Let the girl go!" Jack yelled as he walked up to him with his katana out. "Ha! Like I'm scared of a little small fry like you! Get him, boys!" The leader laughed with a sinister grin. I watched Jack take out about 20 of the guys out but the last few played dirty and knocked him out from behind. I gasped in fear, and ran to his side. Before they could do the finishing blow, I blocked one of their swords with my dagger. "Dont. Touch. Him!" I yelled pushing the guy back by his sword. "What are you going to do about little girl?" The men mocked surrounding me. I just glared and stood protectively over my childhood friend. "Kill you, if you push me." I growled with no emotion. The first guy rushed at me, but I quickly dodged him and stabbed his shoulder causing him to fall to his knees, holding his hsouldsr in pain. I smirked and watched the men with a glare. Some back away but others just continued closer to me. Another guy went as me from the side but I stabbed his side causing him to yell out in pain and fell holding his side. "If you really think just cause I'm girl that I'm weak, then your wrong!" I yelled in warning. We all suddenly hear crazed laughter, making me frown in confusion. I looked back at the leader to see he was the one laughing. "What's so funny?" I demanded in suspicion. He stopped laughing and grinned a evil grin at me. I furrowed my brows at this. "So the the little Princess comes out of her Castle on the hill, and now tries protecting her people....ya that's what got your mother killed.." he said with a smirk. My eyes widened at him knowing who I was and how my mother died. "How do you know about that?" I asked starring at him in surprise and confusion. "Cause I'm the one that killed her." He said with a proud smirk. I tightened my hand on my dagger in pure rage. "I'll kill you!" I yelled running at him. He smirked and gave the girl to another man, so he could fight me. "Let's see what you got, princess." He saying princess in mockery. I growled and went to stab him in the heart, but he dodged and sliced me on arm making hold my arm in pain. He laughed giving me opening. I quickly sliced him on the chest, causing him to groan in pain. "Hmphf, seems you got some moves from your old man." The man scoffed with his chest bleeding through his shirt. It wasn't too deep of a cut, but deep enough to bleed quite a bit. I smirked and stood with my shoulders back. "Yea, he taught me himself, but he's not the only one who taught me to fight..." I said walking towards him threateningly. He put his guard up with a confused face. He watched me walk towards him, but then disappeared from his sight. I soon reappeared from behind him, before putting dagger to his throat with a smirk. "Who's the hostage now?" I said with a cocky smirk. His men stiffened at my quickness. "Th-that was y-your mother's move...how-" The murder of my mother said stuttering. "What? How did I learn my mother's moves even though she died when I was young?" I said glaring at him. "I learned it from a friend of hers." I said with a dull look. "I should've killed all of them that day.." he growled under his breath. I furrowed my brows in confusion and anger. "What do you mean by that?!" I yelled in anger. "The day I killed your mother, she was walking with those friends of hers. But your father almost killed my men, so we retreated." He growled looking away from my glare. "Maybe you should've learned your lesson, not to mess with my family!" I growled pressing the dagger closer to his throat. Before I slit his throat I noticed the children in the crowd we're watching me with fear. I sighed and lowered the dagger, so they didn't have to witness what I did when I was young. I hit the bandit in the head with handle of my dagger hard as could, causing him to be knocked out. "Your lucky there's kids here." I growled at him in anger as I glared at his unconscious body on the ground. I looked back at the man who was still holding the girl. "Let the girl go, or else..." I said pointing my dagger at his face. He quickly nodded and let her go. I watched her run to her older brothers arms. He hugged her with relief. I smiled at them. The green haired brother gave me a thankful look, before taking her hand and walking away. I looked back at the thieves in anger. I was still angry they came to my home and hurt my childhood friend. "Get out of here, before I kill all of you....trust me, the mood I'm in you better start running before I changed my mind..." I growled cracking my neck with a glare. They all paled and nodded before grabbing their leader, before running for their lives. I smirked at this and turned to see Dark standing there saying at me in amazement. "Your pretty tough for a princess, huh?" Dark said with a chuckle. "Uh, yea, I've never really like the whole being a princess thing..." I said with a laugh and looking away in embarrassment. "Well, your pretty enough to be one in my opinion." He said with a small smile. I blushed at this. "Uh, thanks..." I said with a small smile. I walked over to Jack who was had a girl asking him if he was alright. "Don't worry, lass. I'm fine." He said smiling at her. I chuckled when I saw her blush at him. "Hey Jack, quit your flirting, and come on!" I said with a chuckle. "I was not flirting!" He yelled at me with red cheeks making me laugh.
