CHAPTER THREE: You Just Don't Get It.

"It's going to be  97 degrees today. I can't even take the heat, why are we here?" Diamond nagged
The  bright sun danced on our melanin skin,  it was so hot but somehow so lovely. We were all in the park, having ice cups in our hands. Suddenly, the bells rang, we knew it was  the icee man. We prayed for hot days like this, so why should we complain. Summer is here and we should enjoy it.
"Sasha wanted to see her man." Amber laughed as she pointed to the basketball court
I had my sunglasses on but I was afraid to stare, the boys had no shirts, sweat ran down their backs, the sun hitting their faces, to be honest it wasn't a bad view.
"Look at Paris staring." Diamond smirked as she slapped my back
"I'm not." I Looked at her
"Yes you are. Who are you checking out?" Sasha pointed
"It's not good to point.." I turned my face to the opposite direction of hers.
The boys stopped to the rest, but they wanted to see their girls. Clarence, Trev, Malik and the scary one, all walking towards us. I hope, he does not recognize me for the other day. I pretended to use my phone and they arrived, Clarence grabbed the water bottle that Sasha had for him.
"You know I smoked you moe, don't you even front."Malik bragged
" na na na... you smoked Andre." Trev laughed
All the boys laughed in unison, they all crushed their water bottles. Andre was his name, his tattoos all over his arms, even on his chest.  As I looked up, he had freshly nice cut, he smirked a little, you can see his dimples. He wasn't bad looking at all, but he was criminal and he probably still is.
"HELLO! ARE YOU AWAKE?" Sasha snapped at me
"I'm here..."  
The girls laughed and began to whispered, they were heheheing and hahahaing, I knew something was up.
"What's funny?" I sighed
"Who  were you daydreaming about?" Amber laughed, while using  her phone
I stood up in front of them, holding my bag and phone, I looked them in the face.
"I'm fine."
"You couldn't even answer the question." Diamond stood up also then Sasha and Amber did too.
"I have to go." Amber whined
"Go where?" Sasha and I said in unison
"Brendon's house." she smiled
"You literally just got here." Diamond said
"I'm coming back.." Amber smiled as she walked out the park
" she's not coming back.." I laughed
It was only 5:46 PM, and the sun still shines so bright, the temperature probably went even higher. The boys already started a new game, we were on our phones, and gossiping like always. These days like this, we prayed for, and we finally got it. I never mind, the hot weather, to me it was lovely. I sipped on my cup as kept on scrolling through Instagram.  Suddenly, I heard yelling and it was coming from the basketball court. I looked up, and of course it was this nigga, Clarence.
"You can never control your man, Sasha?"  Diamond smirked as we all ran towards the court. Clarence was arguing with a kid named Nathan, he was from our block, so we was all confused about this situation.
"You owe me money moe, this is the fourth time this week." Clarence announced
"Bro relax, I got you." Nathan shooked
"Na, you don't got me." he said while his bros was behind  him
Clarence puts fear into people's hearts as you can see, he put fear in all of us. He doesn't look scary, his movements are. A 5 feet 9 inch, light skin boy does not look scary at all, however the things we saw and heard about this kid, it's something different. Sasha looked scared and tried to get his attention and Thanks to God, she got it. He looked at her and she looked at him and frowned. He sighed and walked away from Nathan.
"You know what, I will deal with you another day." he said while wrapping his arms around Sasha. She felt so relieved, we all did, summer just began and we did not want any problems. All we need to do is enjoy the weather and to enjoy our lives. We all walked towards our complex including the boys, Diamond and Sasha hugged their boyfriends, as I was pretending to be busy on my phone like always.
"We out to my house?" I asked
"Yeah, you got AC." Sasha laughed
All three of us began to walk to my house, it wasn't too far but it is a walk.
"Ring! Ring!" a bike bell ranged
We all looked up to see who it was, it was Andre riding his bike, his muscular arms on the handle, the sun reflected his dark skin. I can admit he is very handsome.
"Sup." He smirked while looking at me
I quickly turned my face around, however Diamond and Sasha seen my reaction.
"Ohhh look at Paris.." Sasha teased
"Mhmmm, someone is feeling you." Diamond giggled
"That's not true. Relax both of you." I sighed
"If you say so .." Diamond shrugged her shoulders
We finally arrived to my place, my grandma left the AC on and it felt so great. Diamond and Sasha jumped on the couch and turned the tv on. 
It was monday night, our favorite show was on, 'Love and HipHop NewYork, we can never miss an episode.
"Oh shit, Clarence wants me to come over." Sasha smiled
"Bruh, at least watched this episode with us." Diamond nagged
"I will.. I will don't worry guys, why don't you come Paris, to see his brother."Sasha smirked
"No, I'm fine." I looked back to the tv
"You just don't get it! He probably is feeling you." Sasha said
"How? If I only saw him like in two days. They just want to fuck, thats what all boys do." I sighed
That's what I believe,  all niggas are the same. They don't really care about you, they want only one thing and after that one thing. They will leave you.
"Actually, can Clarence come over."  sasha begged
"Sure, why not." I said sarcastically
"Yoooo what is Dream Doll doing, she is too much." Diamond bursted out laughing
Sasha and I looked back at the tv, of course Dream Doll was being extra with Safaree. This is the drama we liked, not the violence type but girl drama. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and I knew it was this kid. I opened the door, I saw more than one boy. I actually saw three, Trev, Clarence and Andre.
"Nigga, you said Clarence not the these two."I grilled her
"Relax moe, it's nothing to worry about." Clarence pat my head and walked in the house.
Clarence sat next to Sasha, Trev sat next to Diamond, and they left me to sat next to Andre.  Great...I sat next to him as I was going through instagram
"Follow me." he said
He grabbed my phone and searched  his username, he clicked the follow button.
"Here you go." he gave my phone back
I followed him back, and was sneakily looking through his pictures. Nothing crazy... yet
I began to daze off, my eyes wandered and suddenly it closed.
I woke up, the time was 12:07am, the boys left however my girls are still here.
"You finally woke up." Diamond said
"How was yall cuddling session?" I yawned
"It was great." Diamond laughed
"Yeah.. Yeah.." I rolled my eyes
I grabbed my phone and I saw an Instagram notification, I opened it and it says.
"Wyd, you awake?"
