"Alright," Dr. Lynch started. "We appear to all be here. Let's get started."

The nineteen young adults were seated along a big round table. Even DJ was well enough to come to the meeting, however a resident at the hospital stayed in the room incase he had another breakdown.

"How has everyone been? I heard that they found a lead on where Chris might be hiding." The lead investigator did find Chris' helicopter crashed by the shore of a beach in California.

"Just a few more weeks of waiting and I might just CRACK!" Eva said. "That bastard is the reason why I can't sleep at night."

"He's the reason why NONE of us can sleep at night," Trent said.

"How is everyone's external injuries?" Dr. Lynch got used to saying external injuries when referring to a burn or cut instead of just saying "injuries". It felt like less of an insult to anyone with mental trauma.

Noah spoke in that moment. He hadn't spoken to anyone from the island since they got back. "I'm allergic to bees," he said. "I made it through miserable year with no books to keep me company, with barely even a scratch on me, and as I stepped into the helicopter that was supposed to rescue us I was stung by a bee. How do you think that makes me feel?"

"Oh Noah you're so pessimistic,"Izzy chimed in with a huge grin on her face. It seems as though being on that island brought her back to her normal, crazy self. "At least you don't got none of these." She lifted up her shirt to reveal he cuts and bruises around her breasts and stomach. "If it weren't for you saving me from my 'first challenge' I probably wouldn't have made it out alive."

"What was your first challenge, Izzy? You didn't mention it in our session." Dr. Lynch clicked his pen open and prepared to write something down in his notebook.

"It was called metal death ball. Chef would throw a bunch of metal balls at me and my goal was to dodge them all. And, well, that's how the baby was aborted."

The whole room fell silent and Dr. Lynch could see the little color left drain from everyone's faces.

"You were pregnant!?" Eva yelled.

"How far along were you?"

"Was it a boy or a girl?"

Izzy was never one to be intimidated by questions or by having lots of attention on her, but in that moment she regretted everything she had said.

"Guys leave her alone," Noah said. "She's been through a lot."

"Yeah we've all been through a lot," Heather chimed in. "I guess everyone but you."

"But you don't see me antagonizing you about all of the places Chris touched you or the things he made you do to him."

Heather shrunk back into Gwen's arms, as she was sitting next to her, and she started sobbing. Trent ran to get her a cup of water from the cooler in the corner of the room.

"Alright," Dr. Lynch stood up. "I thought we were ready for another group session but it still looks like we have a lot of individual work to do before we meet together again. You're all dismissed."

"Wait," Courtney interrupted. "We won't be able to move past any of this until we can all talk together. Maybe fighting is part of that process. We all had the same or similar experiences. But we can't move past it or be able to enjoy our lives until we can all--"

"They found her!" Geoff interrupted Courtney. "They found Bridgette."
