"You mean where you are, dearest." Eloise corrected, tapping the end of her umbrella on my ankle.

I blinked for a few seconds, "What do you mean?" She let out a slightly pityful laugh. "Skye, I'm not a physical being."

This made me feel sad inside.

"Spiritual, then?" I tried to make it into a conversation topic, which did not work out as I hoped it would. Eloise walked a circle around me, the sound of her heels and the end of the umbrella hitting the unknown surface of the floor.

She sighed, "I'll be back in a few...How ever you guys would count it as."

Before she left, I decided that this was a chance to ask for at least something to keep me distracted with. "Can I at least have something to fiddle with? Like a board game, papers and pens- anything."

"I'll...ask my boss if that could be arranged." Eloise replied, beaming. "Goodbye, for now, Skye Everest."

"...Bye."

As her figure slowly got out of rage of my eyes, I only realized that I was alone once again.
