A/N:: This is after the video and they're already together

'Plus the diamond industry is incredibly unethical'

Patton sat in his pusheen covered bed.

'Sure! Have you heard of blood diamonds?'

He fiddled with the small box in his hands. Looking guiltier as time passed by.

Patton sighed. "Maybe, I shouldn't have bought this stupid thing."

Having taken the box from his hands he looked at it and remembered everything his friends said about them. He had helped that industry exploit more people!

He began pacing around his room in circles. He was fairly good at hiding what he was feeling but he for some reason couldn't let this one go.

"Ugh! What am I doing?! I can't just stay obsessing over this." Patton said aloud, he stopped fidgeting and kicked the box under his bed.

Logan knocked on the door. "Patton, it is time for dinner. Roman has made spaghetti especially for you," no response from his boyfriend. "Patton please let me inside." After hearing a doorknob click Logan walks in the room and cuddles up to Patton.

"Patton, what's going on?"

"..."

"Honey, please."

"I supported the diamond industry. I'm so sorry please forgive" he confessed, Patton hid his face in Logan's t-shirt and sobbed quietly.

Logan wrapped his arms around Patton and calmingly stroked his hair. "Shhhh, it's okay. You have done anything wrong." He continued reassuring his partner.

"But I have I bought a diamond! I contributed to that problem. God why did I do that, it was a terrible mistake all I wanted to do was buy you an engagement ring!" Patton ranted. "I should not have said that," his voice dwindled also into a whisper.

Logan chuckled. "You can sell it and use the money to raise awareness in the meantime..." he leaned in and whispered in his boyfriend's ear. "You and I can buy a new ring together."

"Okay, we can do that," Patton agreed and managed a smile.

A week has past and the two of them are out at a nearby mall. Hand in hand they walked through the jewellery stores, making sure not to buy a diamond ring they laughed and cheered as they both bought a ring for the other. Patton bought a deep sapphire for Logan, Logan bought a moonstone ring for Patton. They both engraved the same thing on their rings.

"In his smile I see something more beautiful than diamonds."
