I grew up hating animals. You want to know why? Because when I was three, I was bitten by a dog. It was vicious and it tore my left leg off. Now, I have to walk around with my stupid prosthetic leg and when people ask why I have it, I have to answer, “Oh, it was bitten off by a dog when I was three.” How stupid does that sound. And then I found out I have superpowers. Like I need myself to stand out more. And it gets worse. I have the ability to control animals and talk to them. Hey, at least it isn’t as bad as Rory. Yes I know Rory has superpowers. That is the one good thing about being not noticed. People will walk by you but not even look. Yep, that’s my life.
There was a new girl in school today. All the teachers told us to be nice and welcoming and all the other crap like that. It was the worst ten minutes of my life. I tuned out about three minutes into it so I only heard the important stuff. Like her name and how she was coming to school here and… well, that was about it. Then, later that day, I saw her in the halls. I would have asked to walk her to class because we have the same first period history, but then, in the blink of an eye, the amazing, wonderful, super Rory shows up. (I hope that you know I used sarcasm) It gets better. As soon as he runs over to her, she turns around and they collide. I almost bust out laughing. I love when other people fail. I know, I am a cold-hearted person with no friends. Well, you would be right. I have no friends and have almost no emotions. Anyway, they fall and he picks up her stuff, then they walk to class together. After that I hear Mrs. Tate scream at them for being late. “Crap” I whisper. I am late for class. And that was how we all got dentition together. Oh joy.
Sorry about the extremely short chapter. I was at camp all week and my sister got back from New Jersey yesterday and like ten o’clock so, I am really tired and I don’t feel like working today. Just a quick note about myself, I am really sarcastic. If sarcasm is a foreign language to you, don’t read this. Thank you for reading. Updates are Saturdays.
