As I sat in the car with Sapphire, all I could think about was Damien and the way his eyes changed. This is all starting to freak me out. 

The blood sucking, the weird black eyes, the drained bodies that have been found recently...

It's all such a coincidence. Thinking about it now, Mr. Bates always told Gabe to pay attention to the subject about vampires. (P.S~ Gabe wasn't in Mr. Bates class during the first chapter due to a project). He just seemed to think it was funny and stupid. He claimed the Mr. Bates was wrong. It didn't even catch his attention. Sapphire didn't pay attention the first day either. Gabe always watches me in a way I can't even explain. As if he's protecting me. But why? Why would he always watch me.

That stupid vision. Why did I see it? Why did Damien's eyes change when he got excited?

Why did I feel as if Damien read my mind? 

It all sounded to much like vampires... 

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAA!!!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!!

Sapphire pulled over and turned off the car.

"Star. Listen-"

I cant take this anymore!!!!

"No you listen! What the fuck is going on?! WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO DAMN MYSTERIOUS! YOU HAVE A FUCKING TUNNEL UNDERNEATH YOUR FUCKING HOUSE!! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU NEED THAT??!!!" I snapped. I'm sick of these secrets!!! 

"TELL ME! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS!!" I shouted. 

Sapphire sighed and stared ahead.

"Don't go jumping to conclusions. Nothing is wrong with us" she stated.

"Yeah because sucking blood from humans is something people do on a daily basis" I snorted. 

"W-what? We don't suck blood from h-humans. There's a diff-"

"STOP LIEING!!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE HIDING THINGS FROM ME! EVEN MY PARENTS HIDE THINGS FROM ME!" 

"OK....Fine. I'll tell you everything" She sighed.

"My family and I-umm. We are vampires"

"Haa. That's real funny Sapphire. Come on tell me"

"We. Are. Vampires" 

I sat back and thought about what has been happening recently. I thought this was all a joke. But what else will explain these creepy things.

"So...your telling me that all these weird things..these coincidences..Are because of you guys?" I questioned.

"No no! Never! My family doesn't feed off of humans. We feed off of animals. And Uhh..There's something you should know" she fidgeted. 

"THERE'S MORE?! greeeeatttt...." I mumbled.

"Uh..Umm...Me and Damien aren't blood related. My parents adopted him when he was 14 about and we had him since then. We are special so we sort of had him for a very, very long time. He's cool but I worry about him sometimes. My family came here because-"

"Oh my gosh!!! How old are you really!" 

I heard her mumble something.

"Excuse me?"

"I'm 485 years old" she blurted out.

Oh shit...

"Is your...stuff all icky? Does it have cob webs?"

She gave me a look so I backed off and she continued.

"We came here because Damien said that he felt watched back at home. My parents adored him so they said we should move here. When we got here, I started noticing weird things about this place. Damien started having these dreams about this house in the woods and that house is now ours. Something just doesn't seem right" she mumbled.

"Hey Where are your parents anyway? I only met you this Friday and I feel like I know everything about you" I smiled.

"Oh them. They are with our great aunts and uncles for some grown up reunion" she shrugged.

"Oh....OK" 

We sat there in silence as we watched the sun come up before I spoke.

"Can you guys read minds? And don't you shrivel down to ashes once the sun comes up" I asked.

"That's just a stupid legend. I'm pretty sure I dont turn to ashes. I came home to many times with the sun up before a party. And yes. We could, but some choose not to invade privacy"

I slapped my for head and blushed.

"SHIT!!!" I screamed.

"Me and your brother danced and I thought about....some things..REALLY embarrassing things!" 

Why did I think about fucking Damien??! HE GOT HARDER!!! Gahhhhhhhh!

"YOU WANTED TO FUCK MY BROTHER?!!?!?!?!?!!!!" She screamed.

"W-WHAT??! STOP READING MY MIND!!!!!!!" I yelled.

"ughh. just drive me home" 

We drived in silence as I thought about what happened. And what about that vis-

I forced my mind blank. 

I glared at Sapphire but she was to busy driving.

I'm not ready to tell her about that vision I saw. It's to early for that. I'm still processing the whole vampire shit.

I saw my street but Sapphire stopped down the road. I'm going to have to walk the rest because I don't want my parents to be awaken by the lights. I turned to Sapphire and gave her a quick hug.

"Thank you... For everything. Also for this awesome outfit" I smiled at her.

"Yeah yeah yeah. See you tomorrow at school" she said.

I got out of the car and walked up to my house. Standing outside of it makes me feel so weird. Im in a crazy situation, I lost my best friend over a kiss and I liked it. A little to much. I saw and heard something in the bushes. 

"H-Hello?" I asked. I looked around and found a mini shovel from the garden. You think im going to see what's in the bushes without a weapon?! Hell no! I don't want to die tonight. Besides, I know how to fight, thanks to my dad.

I slowly walked up to the bushes and stood in front of it, searching for any sign of movement. I got closer and closer....Wow this is like a movie scene. I saw something in the bush so I slowly went up to it and-

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"

 I DONT WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!
