.Mitch's POV-

Ever since Scott asked me to be his boyfriend, I feel like the other half of me has been filled in. We agreed to take things slow but I already feel like we've been together for a lifetime. It's the little things that make me fall in love with him a little bit more everyday.

For example, just yesterday he brought me breakfast in bed. And I know thats not alot but it still means a lot to me.

I woke up this morning with a rose lying beside my pillow. There was a note attached.

'Good morning M.'

I can't stop the blush from creeping up my neck to my ears as I walk into the kitchen.

"Good morning." The words slip out of my mouth on instinc as I put water in the blue coffer maker scooping the ground beans and putting them in the filter.

"Good afternoon you mean." Scott scoffs eating an old peice of pizza. "It's two oclock. You literally slept for a thousand years."

Striding over to the cabnets to retrive the sugar I laugh. "Sorry not everyone wakes up at the asscrack of dawn just to do nothing."

"This," Scott motions to his hair, "Does not take two minutes to do."

"Trust me. I know."

Scott leans down to kiss me on the lips. I meet him half way ressin them together. "You haven't even brushed your teeh have you?" Scott mumbled against my lips. "Nope." I giggled.

"Well go brush them. I'm gonna take you on a picnic." Scott cupped my cheek.

"Okay." I say looking into his eyes.

~~~~~
"I didn't realize the date was us fighting through a rainforest jungle." I swat a branch away from my faces stepping over a small shrub. "We're almost there. It's this nice place in the middle of the woods. I found it when I was little."
"You came here to clear your head and get away?" I asked looked up to Scott. And really, he was just so...pretty. I loved the way his skin tone was so uneven. Blotchy. Beautiful.
I expected a deep answer, that is definetly not what I got. "Actually. I used to come here and chase the bunnies into the lake to see them swim."
I couldn't help the laughter bubbling from my throat. It was so natural with him. "That sounds so sinister. Are you one of those children who kill animals and then eventually move on to human?" I peer over my shoulder at him.
I was sweating buckets. It was so hot.
"Like Micheal Myers?" Scott presses on.
"Literally right now? While were in the woods. If a masked figure jumps out of the bushes, you better be a gentlemen and die for me."
He bursts out in laughter.
"Look there it is." He point to a wide opening of space. There was a wide stretch of grass then a lake at the end of it. There was not one flower in sight. A bunch of logs surround to place as wll as pine trees. It was not your sterotypical wood space. But it was amazing.
"See, I knew you'd like it. Reminded me of you. Small and homey." Scott sends a crooked smile down at me as his hand rubs at the small of my back.
I set the blanket down and sat atop of it as Scott unpacked the basket.
"I brought Tuna sandwitches, cookies, juice, watermelon, chips, and a slice of carrot cake." Scott explain setting everything down on the blanket.
"A slice?" I raised my eyebrows in question of why there was only one slice. He knows how much I love cake. He must not have brought any for himself....
"I got hungry last night." He shrugged.
Suddenly I felt my pants being wet. "Scott?"
"The grass is wet. Darnit."
I laughed and reached for a tuna sandwitch. Taking a bite I spit it out and grimaced. "They taste awful."
Scott seemed confused. He picked the other up one and held it up to his nose gasping and tossing away in the grass.
"Scott! The bunny could die from eating that." I slap his chest. Sometimes I don't know about that boy.
"Jeesh M. I didn't think it was that bad... And besides, by the smell of it, you won't have to worry about anything getting into it."
I laugh awkwardly. "Well there goes the main course."
Grabbing a slice of watermelon I rest my head against his shoulder and watch the clouds pass above.
As he takes the slice of carrot cake and- wait what? I was gonna eat that...
I smack the slice into his face then burst out laughing until I had a face of juice.
"Scott!"
"Mitch." He retorts.
"That was cake not a liquid."
"It was a spasm." The joker. I giggle. Sure whatever. "You could always take your shirt off..." Scott wiggles his eyebrows at me.
"Sure. When pigs fly." I roll my eyes. "I heard in sweeden there was a pig that was seen flying out of walmart."
"Nice try big guy."
We both stay silent for a moment staring into eachothers eyes. Scott looks down. "Sorry that this date turned out so horrible."
"This date had been perfect. I don't care if we ate bluberry pie from a trashcan in an alleyway. As long as I'm with you it doesn't matter."
~~~~~~~~

"Hey Scott, we've known eachother for forever."

"Yes correct"

"I've liked you for a long time, have you liked me?"

Scott sits up on his elbows and looks at me. "honestly mitch I don't know when I started liking you, I just did. your just so beautiful and funny and wonderful and it's crazy"

"What's crazy ?"

He opens his eyes and with a small glimmer he kisses me on the lips.

"Everything Mitch I didn't know what was going to happen between us when I started liking you I thought we were going to grow apart but now were dating and I'm happy and everything's just..... nice"

" That's the same way I feel but dirt is now all over my knees and elbows and I'm a mess so can we go home and take a bath."Scott sticks his tongue out at me.

"As long as we can take a bath together" Scott winks at me. I slap his arm playfully.

"Scott. that's dirty"
