Dean's POV
Dean threw a sideways glance at Cas and grinned when he caught him staring back. Cas blushed and smiled softly. Dean thought to himself for a moment then looked down at his paper and ripped a small piece of it off. He then wrote on the paper, 'Do u wanna come 2 my house later?' he crumpled the paper up and tossed it onto Cas' desk. Cas picked up the note and read it. He picked up a pen his brow furrowed slightly, 'I don't know Dean Anna is always so protective and it's a wonder she hasn't locked me up in the house yet, considering how much I've been going out lately.'
Dean picked up the note that Cas had tried to throw onto his desk, but failed and it landed on the floor. He read the note, it was in Cas' perfect script, he let out a small whimper when he finished reading what he had written, 'but caaaasss please?! I'll be so bored without you!' he tossed the note back onto Cas' desk where Cas picked it up and read it before sighing and scribbling something down on the paper. he handed the note to Dean, 'fine, fine I'll see what I can do, but don't get your hopes up! Anna is being peculiarly cruel as of late.' Dean smirked to himself having won this battle, there was only five minutes left in class then the day was over, and so was the torture of being locked up in a Hellwhole all day...
Dean jumped slightly as the bell rang and he gathered his things and was carried out the door in the sea of people trying to leave.
Castiel's POV
Cas had to call Anna, she would not be pleased that he'd be gone again today.
When his mom died of cancer and his father became the worst kind of alcoholic, an abusive one, Anna and Michael took Gabe and I and ran away becoming our official guardians. Michael wasn't around much and didn't care enough to really be a guardian so it was just Anna, but when Michael was around Gabe and I almost always got whatever we wanted, Michael had a good job, he was a surgeon by day and an ER worker by night so he was rarely home, most of the time when he came home he would bring presents for us, he didn't even work near where we lived he worked in New York. Typically his presents were always the same, he would give Castiel a book, or if he was lucky a series, and he would bring Gabe home a big bag of candy that would normally last him until the next time Michael came around which was only months at a time.
The Sound of the bell snapped Cas out of his reverie and he jumped up and decided to meet Dean at his car, considering it would be nearly impossible to keep up with him now.
Cas ran to his locker grabbed his backpack and shoved his things in it before hurrying toward the exit of the school.
As he walked through the school parking lot he pulled out his phone dialing Anna's number. "Hey Cassie, what's up?" Anna answered cheerfully, "Umm well... , was wondering if I could go to Dean's house?..." Cas asked hesitantly, Anna sighed, "Ok Castiel but don't stay out too late, and get your homework done!" She grumbled at him sounding disappointed that she'd be alone again. Cas beamed, "Thank you Anna, your the best!" Cas was grinning, he slapped his phone shut and jogged to Dean's car where he was waiting, "Hey Cas." he smiled as Dean pulled him into his arms kissing him softly before pulling away, "So what did Anna say?" Cas grinned, "She said yes!" "I told you so!" Cas glared and punched his arm playfully before skipping to the other side of the car. Dean have him an odd look before sliding into the car beside him and revving the engine before pulling out of the parking lot.
Dean's POV
Cas was acting weird, he seemed incredibly happy for no apparent reason. He shrugged it off and smiled to himself, if Cas was happy he wouldn't question it.
When they got to Dean's house they walked in and sat down on the couch and turned to each other, "So what do you wanna do?" Dean said his brain ticking for answers to his own question.
Dean felt a sly smile spread across his face, "I have an idea." He smirked at Cas who just tilted his head slightly, "What's your idea Dean?" Dean pulled him into the kitchen and went ruffling through the cabinets and pulled out a dusty cook book he glanced over at Cas and had to laugh, the look on his face was priceless, he looked like someone had just told him bears liked to dance to disco music. He turned back to his cook book and flipped through it finding a recipe for chocolate cake, "Aha here it is!" Cas finally found his voice, "what are we making?" Dean looked at him, "Dauntless cake!" that put another confused look on Cas' face, "I don't understand that reference." Dean just laughed, "Never mind. We're making chocolate cake!"
Dean was putting the eggs in when it happened, he felt a handful of flower his the back of his head. His head lifted slowly to intimidate Cas and his hand reached for the eggs left laying on the counter, he picked one up and walked over to Cas planting a soft and slow kiss to his lips acting as if he hadn't felt a thing but all the while was raising the above Cas' head he pinched the egg between his fingers causing it to break over Cas' head just as he pulled away. Cas gasped at the sudden coldness of the raw egg on his head. Dean smirked, "Oh it's on baby!" Cas picked up the bowl of homemade icing, and took a spoon and flung a spoon full at Dean hitting him dead center in the chest, Dean just grinned at him evilly and threw a handful of sugar at him it stuck to his head and sprayed across his face. Cas backed away in surrender, but then grabbed the bowl of sprinkles and started pelting Dean with them he his behind the center island in the kitchen and started plotting, 'he could make a run for it.... Oooorrrr he could grab the colored sugars and start throwing them at Cas... He like the second idea better' he bolted across the kitchen and grabbed the jar of rainbow sugar. he splashed the contents onto Cas and he looked like a gay pride parade Dean fell on the floor laughing though he probably looked the same do to the multicolored sprinkles but Cas also sparkled a little because of the way the light hit the sugar. Cas moped over to the other side of the island where Dean was laying on the floor laughing and he grinned at him before picking up the box of food coloring and started squirting the coloring all over Dean making him look like a rainbow. Dean grimaced and thought to himself, 'if anyone were to walk in on this they would think we really we're preparing for a gay pride parade....' he smiled at Cas and sighed, "So much for that cake, huh?" Cas chuckled and helped him off the floor they decided to shower up and finish the cake with the few ingredients left. When the cake was done the took it and decided it in half, they took one half and split in eating almost all of it but kept two slices Dean turned just as a piece of cake smashed into his face and he took the other piece and threw it at Cas, it landed on his head. They both started laughing. "Dean what time is it?" Dean glanced at his watch, "9:30" Cas sighed, "I have to go Anna will be upset if I don't get back soon." Dean whimpered slightly, "ok, I'll drive you." The drive was quiet and Dean dreaded saying bye to Cas though he would see him again in the morning but he had to leave and he knew it.
They pulled into Cas' driveway Dean turned in his seat and pushed Castiel against the passenger door with a fierce kiss Castiel's tongue snaked its way into Dean's mouth and Dean moaned softly as Cas' hand trailed down his side he knew Cas had to go but at this moment he really couldn't are less what Anna thought about him, he wanted him and he knew it wouldn't be long until he got what he wanted because he sensed the same urgency in the way Cas kissed him back the same want that he felt when he was near Cas. He just wondered how long he'd have to wait...
