Have you ever been in love with a friend? ... If your answer is no, then I say, lucky you kiddo.
Like you may have noticed, my answer goes kinda to the yes, ok, totally to the yes.
I have been and still, I'm in love with her, yeah, is a 'she', and I'm a 'she' as well.
Nothing weird these days, but when I was young, holy smoke, it was a big deal. Not that I'm old now, guess its depends what one's see as 'old', but I'm rambling here, let's go back to my story.
My name is Anni-Frid Lyngstad, you can call me Frida, everyone does anyway, I was born in Norway, high in the mountains and ... my childhood wasn't exactly average, but hey, I'm sure you already know that and I'm not here to tell you about 'poor orphan Anni-Frid'. I'm here to talk about my love for this woman, she has a name, we'll get to it, be patient, I like some mistery here.
If I'm being correct, I've know her for 50 years, did you hear that? 50 years! It wasn't love at first sight, oh no, but since the first 'hello' she has been in my mind, running from one place to another, and then hiding herself from my thoughts, you know what I mean? ... Well, for the sake of this story, I hope you do.
I wasn't freaked out because I liked this girl, - I like to play in all the teams - so that wasn't a problem, I was freaked out because, the more time I spent with her, the more I knew deep down, that it wasn't just mere lust, it was something way more complicated, something that scared me like nothing else ever did... love, and I'm talking about the real, magic, ridicule kind of love, I used to make fun of such 'love' when I saw it in others; guess it was my turn to be fooled around by love.
She was like a storm, one that was bubbling at my side, and I couldn't escape from it.
And all the hefty storms have names right? well, she wasn't an exception, her name was Agnetha.
