As soon as I stepped into the house, a feel of sadness and loss fell over my red, teary face. The whole house was covered head to toe in think, black ash. I looked over to my dead father, and a fiery inferno was swallowing up the house, one life after another. Seeing his face one more time would mean the world to me, but I knew that that only happened in fairy-tales. Limping over to the crying baby Sofia, the fire was entering her room, and the screams got louder and louder. The door was ablaze, and somehow, I managed to fight my way into the room and see the little baby. I shouted 'Sofia!' As loud as I could. But when I did so, the roof and selling beams came crashing down around us. The sky was still ever so dark and gloomy. You could still hear mother's and father's crying out for their children, and people drowning in lava. The moon still hadn't rose. All hope was lost.

Sofia was still crying, so I raced over to her. I saw that she was holding her favourite rabbit. I quickly picked her up and started to bolt towards the door, otherwise, we would have been burnt to death by the fire. While trying to race to the door, Sofia had dropped her rabbit. She was still crying, but this time, she was screaming. I looked down to see what the problem was, and I saw it. I tried to pick up the rabbit, but in doing so, I dropped Sofia. She was plummeting to the ground. My first reaction was to get Sofia and run. I quickly caught Sofia, miler metres away from sudden death. Sofia got the rabbit, and I clutched her tightly in my sweaty arms. I limped towards the door, finally, getting to safety. Sofia was seriously burned and covered in ash, but I was just glad that she was still alive.
