Meinu POV

It wasn't fine. I wasn't fine. We had one more mission left then we would no longer be apart of each others lives. I had no excuse to talk to him anymore. I felt... kinda empty. Once we broke the hug we said our goodbyes and went home. I opened my wallet and saw only $10 left. 

"I can't go to the hotel..." I sighed and thought about what to do.

"Better go home before he gets more angry..." I thought. As I was on my way home I heard a few gunshots and immediately ran to the house. The door was opened and I sprinted in. 

DYLAN POV

 I was walking home and I was smiling thinking about when Meinu and I hugged and how amazing I looked in my clothes. When I was almost home my phone rang. I saw Meinu's name and I smiled immediately. I answered.

"Hey Meinu! I was just about to call you and-"

"D-Dylan..." Her voice broke as she said that. My smiled faded and my heart stopped.

"What's wrong? Where are you?" 

"I-I need you... can you come to my house p-please?" 

"I'm on my way." I immediately turned and ran towards her house. Scenario's of what was happening popped in my head. As I got there I ran in the door.

"Meinu!?" I saw her on the floor holding her brother in her hand and red was painted everywhere. I immediate checked on the guy and glanced up at her sometimes.

"Meinu. What happened? He needs to go hospital!" She gripped my hand and I could feel her tremble.

"He can't..." She didn't need to say anything else and I just obeyed.

"Meinu... I need a stick and a first aid kit!" She ran outside fast and grabbed a stick and brought it to me. 

"I've seen this is movies... so sorry but this is all I can do." I grabbed a cloth and wrapped it around his stomach where he was shot and used the stick to tighten it. I quickly then helped him into a bed and put a blanket over him. I then went over to Meinu who was washing off the blood on the ground.

"Meinu..." I said and she just kept scrubbing the floor.

"Meinu-ah!" I walked over to her and she looked at me. She wasn't crying though.

"Dylan... He can't go hospital." She knew something I didn't so I stayed out of it atleast that's was I was going to do. But it was her.

"He will die if you keep him here. I've stopped the bleeding but it won't last long. He must go!" She shook her head.

"Thanks for your help Dylan.... please don't tell anyone what happened." I grabbed her shoulders.

"What happened to him? Why can't he go hospital?" She looked me straight in the eyes and looked down.

"I.... He's part of a gang who have killed. If he goes hospital they won't help him. They'll take him to jail and he'll die there. One of his stupid enemies must've done this..." I sighed.

"But... what're you going to do? I don't know any doctor. Do you?" She shook her head and sighed.

"I know he's going to die. In fact he probably deserves it...... but he's my family. I want him to pass peacefully and painlessly with his family. I know he'll want his gang with him." I nodded understanding everything she was saying.

"I'll help you."

TIMESKIP

I stood outside as men dressed in black leather walked into Meinu's room. As the last one came I walked in and closed the door. Her brother was conscious but didn't even look at her he only looked at his gang.

"Boys... make sure to avenge me. Make sure you kill all our enemies and extend out gang." All the boys were surprisingly crying.

"Snake arm. You're the new boss." A big guy nodded and wiped his tears away. It was then quiet.

"Meinu...." I looked up at the mention of her name. He wasn't even looking at her.

"Meinu... protect her with your lives and serve her as if she were me." Meinu looked at her brother confused. He finally looked at her.

"Meinu... i'm sorry for wronging you. I love you sis." Suddenly I saw a tear break out of her.

"Be strong! Live Long! And never give up!" He yelled. The boys yelled it too and so did Meinu. It was quiet and his eyes were closed. As Meinu asked... the boys carried him away and were going to bury him somewhere. As the room was empty. I walked towards Meinu. 

"Are you okay?" She shrugged. I saw her trembling and I back hugged her.

"Be strong.... live long..."

"And never give up..." She finished. 

MEINU POV

When I said that I turned and hugged him back and cried in his arms. I hated my brother. But.... right when he left.... I felt like he never hated me this whole time. He was drunk when he hurt me but did he always regret it later? I cried for a long time. After that he drew circles on my back with his hand.

"Your parents... where are they?" He asked. I smiled and remembered when my brother said my name and heard my parents through him.

"They were there." I simply said and I could feel his chin tense a bit then relax again. I let go of him then looked at the wet stain on his shirt.

"Sorry." He shrugged.

"No problem." I smiled and he did too. After that long day he went home and all the gang slept in my room and I slept on the couch. I liked the couch. It was where he slept.  The ultimate gang leader and fierce fighter. My brother.

Slowly... I fell asleep.
