Ryan and his friends mourned over Joey quickly before gathering their weapons. "Alright. So, should we go out the front or the back?" He asked.

Lisa sighed. "I think the back is the best idea. We could stay hidden and just loop around front onto the trail." She said. Ryan nodded.

"Sounds good. Let's go before any of them decide to come back." He said. He started walking slowly out the back door, his friends following close behind. They walked around the side of the house and quietly to the dirt trail in front of the cabin. They hadn't seen a single person in a mask or otherwise as they started down the dirt trail. As they continued down the trail, Ryan spotted lights that seemed to be coming closer by the second. He then realized it was a truck and began waving his arms wildly as his friends tried to help get the driver's attention. When the truck continued speeding towards them, Ryan looked closely at the person driving and saw it was a brown-haired woman wearing yet another mask: this time, it looked like the face of a Pin-up model or something. He could also barely make out the dress she was wearing: a red one with white spots. The truck sped towards them at a dangerous speed. Ryan and his friends turned and started running, the truck quickly gaining on them. Ryan then dove to the side, his friends following. There was a scraping sound and a gasp as the truck sped by and started turning around.

"Guys! Let's go! I don't think that lady cares if she goes off the road!" Ryan yelled. Everyone stood up except Sara, who stood but then fell with a cry. She clutched her foot in pain. "The truck...My foot....I can't run..." She said, groaning in pain. Ryan sighed.

"Alright. We need to hurry! I'll let you lean on me and we'll go as fast as we can, OK?" He asked. Sara nodded as Ryan helped her up and leaned her against him, her arm weakly around his shoulder as they started walking as fast as they could. The truck was racing off the road after them as they fast-walked through the trees. The truck was dangerously close before they made their way through a tight cluster of trees the truck could not get through. They continued for a bit longer before sitting down in a dark set of bushes to rest for a bit.

"What're we gonna do, Ryan? The nearest house is miles away! We can't possibly make it there in time with Sara like this! Hell, we couldn't make it she was fine either!" Alyssa said quietly.

"I don't know, Alyssa. We might just have to find somewhere safe to hide until morning...." Ryan answered. "Let's just focus on surviving for right now..." As soon as he said that, footsteps began approaching from behind them. Ryan made sure everyone was quiet as they heard a man's voice close behind them.

"Where did they go? I know that bitch chased them here in that truck. I saw the wreck back there." The man said. His voice was deep and aggressive.

"I don't know, Craig. They have to be here somewhere. The footprints ended close to here. So they have to be around this area somewhere." Another voice said, less deep but still as aggressive.

"Well we have to keep looking. There's no way they escaped that quickly." The final voice said, which sounded less interested in the task at hand then the others.

Ryan was hoping all of his friends would stay quiet as he saw the three men behind the voices walk slowly in front of them. It was the men with the animal masks. The guy who shot at them earlier with the crossbow was wearing a Lamb Mask and had his crossbow on his back, now wielding an axe like Tiger Mask, while Fox Mask still had his machete. The three men began to look around for them while Ryan and his friends tried to stay as quiet as possible. In what seemed like hours, the three men moved on, not seeing them. Ryan sighed and looked over at his friends.

"Let's go back to the road from the East. They went West, so it's our best chance." He said, once again helping Sara up and leaning her against him. The others nodded in agreement, eager to leave. Ryan walked first, leading the way towards the road slowly but surely. They would get out of here. They had to. He kept telling himself that in his head as they continued on. Soon they arrived at clearing that was close to the road. Ryan looked around the large clearing before he heard the sound of giggling and saw something run through the trees to his right. He looked swiftly to his right just as the figure giggled and ran to his left. "What...?" He looked to his left before guiding his friends into the open circle. He continued looking around for the figure and saw and heard nothing. He sighed just as he heard a whooshing sound and felt a sharp, painful stab in his shoulder. He screamed and fell to the ground, looking at his shoulder and seeing a bolt in it. Lamb Mask, followed by Tiger Mask and Fox Mask, stepped into the large clearing from the side Ryan and his friends came through. Ryan then looked over at the other side as The Man In The Mask, Dollface and Pin-up Girl stepped out from that side. His friends all gasped as Alyssa ran over to him.

"Ryan! Are you alright? Oh my god!" She said fearfully. Ryan nodded weakly.

"I'm fine...We need to get out of here...." He said, slowly standing up and walking over to the rest of his friends. "We're gonna have to make a run for it...Sara, can you walk Ok?" He asked.

"Yeah...That 'rest' we got earlier helped me out a little. I can walk now." She answered. Ryan nodded and looked over at the two groups of killers that were slowly approaching from their respective sides.

"Okay. So, we're gonna run to our right through those trees and keep going until we can't physically run anymore. Understand?" He asked. Everyone nodded. "Alright. Follow my lead." He then looked for the groups to see they were both gone. "Guys...They're gone." He said in a scared voice.

"Shit. Where do you think they went...?" George asked. Ryan sighed and shrugged.

"Who knows? Let's just go before they come back, OK?" Ryan said. He looked at the bolt in his shoulder and violently ripped it out before throwing it to the ground and groaning in pain. "Ugh...Bad idea...Let's...Go." He started running drunkenly to their left and his friends followed. He entered the dense forest and continued towards the road, his friends close behind except Sara, who was trying to catch up. She yelled out, "Guys! Wait up!"

Everyone turned to face her as Pin-up Girl jumped out of the trees besides her and stabbed her in the side. She screamed in pain and groaned as Pin-up Girl then walked behind her and stabbed her in between the shoulder blades, killing her. "If only she wasn't so slow." Pin-up Girl said menacingly before walking towards the group. She was stopped as Fox Mask burst from the trees swinging his machete at her.

"That girl was MINE, Bitch!" He yelled, swinging his machete at her. Pin-up Girl blocked them with her large knife. Fox Mask's attack allowed the kids to escape unseen. They continued deep into the woods and finally made it to the road.

"I can't believe...Sara's dead....Why? Why is this happening to us?" Alyssa asked, tears pouring down her face.

George put his arm on her shoulder. "Alyssa...We've got to keep going. If we want to survive we have to stay strong. We'll cry over Sara and Joey later." He said. Alyssa nodded, wiping off her tears.

"So those guys aren't working together." Ryan said. "Maybe we could get them to wipe each other out?"

"Good idea. Let's see if we can flag down a car, first." Lisa said as she walked onto the road and waved her arms. Ryan sighed. He hoped they made it out alive.
