No One Can Hear You: The Animals VS The Strangers

Part 10: The Attempt

Tiger Mask walked slowly over to the window and peeked his head out. He turned his head to see Ryan, who stabbed at his forehead. Tiger Mask was able to grab Ryan's hand. He pulled and Ryan plummeted, dropping his knife two stories below, but hung in mid-air because Tiger Mask was still grasping his arm. Ryan looked up fearfully and Tiger Mask tilted his head before using his other hand to wave in a mocking 'goodbye' fashion. He let go and Ryan plummeted two stories as well.

He slammed to the ground, luckily landing on a softer area of grass. He groaned and slowly stood up before limping away as quickly as he could without making it painful. He found his knife and picked it up before limping into the woods, not realizing two of The Strangers were still alive, one determined to kill him and one determined to kill Lisa. As he limped painfully into the woods he looked around hoping one of his friends was still alive. His hopes came true as he heard the frantic crunching of twigs and leaves and saw Lisa racing towards him. She gasped and grabbed his arm, pulling him with her.

"Lisa! What's going on?" He asked as they raced through the trees.

"One of the girls is still alive...The one with the Pin-Up mask and red dress...." She said, panting and almost out of breath. Ryan cursed and looked back, seeing not only Pin-Up Girl fast-walking towards them but The Man In The Mask close behind, both with their weapons ready. Ryan faced forward again and led Lisa towards the shed nearby the cabin.

"There must be some sort of radio in there somewhere!" He exclaimed as they entered and closed the door, quietly looking around. "You see anything?" He asked in a whisper. Lisa shook her head. They continued to look as Pin-Up Girl and The Man In The Mask made it to the door and began violently banging and rapping on it.

"I think I found something...!" Lisa exclaimed in excitement. Ryan approached her and saw not a radio, but a decently functioning Walkie-Talkie. He picked it up and flipped it on, tuning the dial to a random open signal before pressing the button and saying, "Help us...Please. We're in danger...There are people trying to kill us...Someone must be out there. Help us!" He released the button and a few seconds later heard a woman with a thick Australian accent respond, "I'm on my way. I've tracked your signal and it'll take me only about 15 minutes to get there. Please, stay where you are and fight back if you have to. I'll be there soon." Ryan and Lisa sighed in relief.

"Oh god...Thank GOD!" Lisa said. Ryan then noticed the two had stopped banging. He looked towards the door and saw it was wide open. They then heard a whisper saying, "It's too late for God to save you." The door to the shed slammed shut and the lights blew out as Lisa screamed. Ryan felt someone grab him and he punched them right in the face before running off and banging frantically on the shed door. It finally opened and he ran off, not wanting to look back. He arrived back at the cabin and saw all of his dead friends except Lisa lined up in chairs, all tied up in a large circle. The message written in blood had been finished by someone with neater handwriting. It now said, "No One Will Find You And No One Can Hear You. Not Even God." He also saw the body of Dollface, propped up to look like she was still alive. Ryan gasped and turned around to run out when Pin-Up Girl was about to stab him. He quickly rolled out of the way and picked up a vase, throwing it at her. It smashed on her chest and she just silently ran at him. He was surprised by this and did not dodge out of the way in time. She stabbed him right in the chest, very close to his heart. He gasped and punched her hard in the face before using his own knife to stab her in the stomach. She grabbed his arm and shoved him away, delicately removing the knife from her stomach. She swung both knives at him, and he dodged the best that he could, still getting scraped by the edges of the blades. Wincing in pain and unable to dodge anymore because of the growing pain in his chest, he picked up a small end table and used it to absorb the attack from the knives. The knives were stuck in the table now, and Ryan shoved the table forward, causing Pin-Up Girl to stumble back and drop the knives (still inside the table). She reached down and ripped one out before running at Ryan with surprising speed. He quickly took a picture off the wall and slammed her in the head with it, glass and wood breaking over her skull. She stumbled back, in a daze as Ryan then picked up the dropped knife and stabbed her straight through the forehead, the knife cracking the mask before entering her skull. He ripped it out as her body fell to the ground. Broken and bleeding, and still knowing there were three assailants still around, Ryan desperately awaited the mysterious person's arrival. The race back to the cabin and the fight had all lasted about a total of 8 minutes, the fight taking up the majority of 6 of those minutes. He sighed weakly and looked around at the hell that had been unleashed upon him.
