Dear diary,
Today is Saturday and guess what? Is the day we will be going to have dinner in Matilda's house. I dad and mom. Is going to be great, I sense it.
I told mom and dad about it and they were very happy about it. I have a basket ball practice this morning. But the soccer teams are not going for practice, so Matilda won't be coming. I wore my sport wear, carried my bag and left the house. I reached basket ball hall and people were already waiting, Dave the boy's team leader was there and the boys had already began. But the girls were waiting for me because am their leader. That's why as leaders, any decision you take will either affect your followers positively or negatively, so as leaders we should always take good decision.
Lessons soon began and ended hours late.

"Bailey!" I heard my name and turned, it was Zack. "Hi Zack, what's up?" I asked him. "Fine what about you?" He asked. "Doing great" I said. "Your bestie isn't here today...Why?" he asked as if he didn't know that she was in soccer and soccer team is not having practice.
"She's in soccer and they are not having practice" I still answered him, it wasn't his fault, he was just looking for topic to bring out for discussion. "Yap, You know that basket ball is a great sport right? It requires determination. If you have the determination to shoot it in the net, there's no way it won't enter the net. This has been helping me all the years. And also, if you are determined to be successful in life, there's no way you won't be successful. Success is just like the game of basketball." Zack said bouncing the basket ball in his hand. "Gosh! This boy likes talking about basket ball all the time, in fact he's boring!" I thought to myself even if I knew what he was saying was true...It was very true, I was determined to shoot the ball in the net to make my team win on the day of competition. Zack likes talking about basket ball because he's basket ball-crazy, an addict for that better. I won't be surprised if he's plan for college was too go to basket Ball College. I reached my house and waved him good bye that was when he climbed on his bike to start going. He was riding bike when he saw me and climbed down and started strolling with he's bicycle with me minutes ago. "See you in school on Monday!" Zack said as usual every Saturday. "You too" I said. Throughout the stroll home, I was tempted to tell him my feelings for him but I controlled myself. I sounded rude throughout so that he won't notice something fishy like how tender my voice was towards him. I couldn't even look into he's eyes... I was shy!

I had a shower and lay on my bed waiting for dinner time with the Morris family. I didn't have to get ready to prepare food for the family because we were going to have dinner in Matilda's house. I wore my Pajamas; I didn't care after all that was what I wore when am having dinner with my own family. Matilda's family is now like mine too. So no worries!
By seven o'clock, dad and mom were already dressed waiting for me. "Like seriously! You're wearing this?" Mom asked me. "Yes mom, it's what I wear when am having dinner with you both" I said to mom. "But we are going out to someone else's house to have dinner!" My father said surprised. "Yes dad, that's why I wore it because they are also like a family to me." I said. "Your daughter knows what she's doing...let's leave her!" Mom said to dad as dad's left eyebrows went up. "Alright!" let's get going" Dad said.
I quickly brought out my phone and text Matilda about what I was wearing. She only put laughing Emoji's. We reached Matie's house and I rang the door bell. Matilda opened the door and greeted my parents and me and welcomed us in. Her father wasn't out yet maybe dressing up. Dad and mom sat down on the chair waiting for the host to usher them into the dining table. Matilda on the television for them and gave dad the remote to control. I knew that wasn't a good idea, they were both going to fight as they did at home. Dad will want to watch football and wrestling and mom will want to watch zee-World and Fashion shows.
