3 Years Later!
Dear diary.
Am very...very sorry because it has been long that I wrote in you, I had been looking for you everywhere for two years now and I found you today! Guys why? We moved from the house we were staying before to a new one. It was just today that the new occupant brought it that he newly saw it and decided to bring it to me.
Gosh! I don't even know where to start from, a lot has happened since you got missing. Besides its 2 years past now. Am 16 years now going 17 this year July! We have written our final exams and also, Mom and dad have started application for college at the University of California. Matilda's dad wants her to go to new yoke. So we are not going to be together any more...And it doesn't matter to me because in friendship, distance isn't a barrier because our souls are connected. We might not be there with each other, but she we will always be there for each other.
Like I said dairy, a lot had happened. My mom is pregnant with a baby boy and I'm very happy even though I have always wanted a sister. Dad promised to celebrates my 17th birthday which is 5 days after my graduation on 20th July!
Matilda is doing on great. Even Rick our friend. Rick will be 18 this year December meaning he's presently 17. Matilda is already 17 she turned 17 this year's may. I got A+, even Matilda got the same with Rick and our average was high. What Mom and Mr. Morris said about crush was true. I no longer feel anything for Zack again, so is Matilda. Zack already graduated and went to the college of soccer and basket ball. He will come back Long vacation.
Last year, Matilda's dad got married to Matilda's aunt who Victoria's younger sister who's named is Victory. And are both happy together
Dear diary, can you believe that before Zack left for college, he asked me to date him but due to what Mom, Mr. Morris and dad said about dating, I refused because I wasn't ready to marry. Rick is really a gentle guy...Always ready to focus on he's studies. A good guy interested in friendship but not relationship. Rick helped us to get out of 60 and 70 percent and below to 90 percent. I and Matilda were "B" students before, but we are now an "A" student. Rick is still holding on to he's medical doctor dreams while Matilda still glued to her dentist choice, and I still a journalist. Nothing in this world will stop me from learning journalism. I love, love writing. I want to be the youngest, most intelligent journalist. I've written a book comprising of the advice given to me by mom, dad and Mr. Morris. And also, what life has taught me. The book is titled "Life"
15th July
Dear diary,
Today is my birthday, and I celebrated it. My friends came over; I was surprised to see Zack! My birthday went well and I got lots of gift from friends and Family. Matilda gave me a beautiful expensive locket.
20th July
Dear diary,
Today is my graduation day; I and Matilda went shopping the previous day to buy our gowns for graduation. Our graduation went on well. We were given our diplomas; mom and dad were both there even Matilda's dad and step mom. I couldn't believe that I was graduating from high school.
11th September
Dear diary,
I will be resuming school in the University of California tomorrow but am traveling today but I don't know about Matilda. I have finished packing for college. Dad had taken me shopping to get some school stuff.
"Hurry up Bailey, your flight is by 3:30, this is 2: 20 and you know air port is far?" dad said to Bailey. I brought out my luggage's downstairs. I hugged mom and knelt before her to talk to my unborn brother in mom's womb.
"Little brother, be good okay? And take care of mom" I said and smiled standing up to leave! "Bailey, wait!" Mom said as I turned back to go meet her. She hugged me and said "Don't forget the family you are from. Live a good and holy life on campus okay? Avoid parties, boys and bad friends." Mom said. "Okay mom, thanks. I will never disappoint you. I promise to make you proud" I said smiling at me. Just then, the door bell started ringing. Bailey opened the door and saw it was Matilda and Rick. "We will miss you; we decided to come visit you before you leave. We will be leaving tomorrow too!" Matilda said. "I'll miss you both too." I said hugging them as tears dropped down our cheeks. "Matilda and rick, distance isn't a barrier as for as we are connected through our souls. And off-course there is social media to communicate even do some video calls" I said to them as they brightened up.
