Starline POV

I watched as the boy struggled with a math question.

"The answer is three" I whispered not looking up from my book.

I felt his burning gaze from the moment he walked in here.

"What?" He asked.

"The math question. The answered is three" I said.

I reach to take the pencil from him but as my fingers brushed his they sparked. What the hell? I actually wanna touch him again. No. I took the pencil from him and explain.

I may or may not have gotten carried away because when I watched I and done all the questions. I placed the pencil down, cracked my fingers and went back to reading my book.

"I don't wanna disturb because I know how annoying it is when someone disturbs your reading but I would like to know your name" he said.

"That's okay. I'm Starline" I said smiling.

"I'm Norton" he said.

"Nice to meet you" I said before going back to my books.

About thirty minutes before class I got up and said "see you around Norton" before leaving.

My phone buzzed in my pocket as I opened my locker. I pulled it our and saw I got a text from Dawn saying that Eric left his phone in my bag and if I could bring it for him.

I quickly pick the phone out of my bag and took my books for first period as I went over to the popular click.

I walked up to Eric handed him his phone as I tried to ignore the girls in the group who were glaring at me and at Dan and his flirtatious smirk.

"See ya later" Eric said kissing my cheek before I went of to class.

Eric is a family guy. He'd do anything for his family even if it may be embarrassing.

I remember when Eric had kissed my cheek and his girlfriend had gone crazy and started calling me bitch and drama. When he told her I was his sister she couldn't stop apologising and we became friend but its too bad they broke up because she cheated on him.

I walk into class and took a sit I was the second person in the class besides the teacher.

I looked to see that person being Norton the guy I met at the library. I had never seen him before I didn't even know he was in my class. He lifts his head and my eyes locked with his lime green ones. He smiled at me and I smiled back neither of us able to break the contact. We stared at each other until the bell for class to start rang taking us out of our trance and back to our work.

Lunch time came and I went to my locker where Daniel was leaning against it.

"Hey" I said as I walked to him.

"Hey. Would you come to a party with me Saturday tonight?" He asked.

"Yes." I said.

No I don't do parties its one of his grandparents parties and he does have a girlfriend because he's a player so he just asks me to go since I'm always over at his house and his parents think were dating.

"So what's up?" He asked.

"Nerd up. Why do you even hang around with me?" I asked because I don't understand.

"Because I like being around you. I don't care what people say. Your awesome,caring understanding and you don't judge me even if you hate popularity. I like that you like me for who I am and I don't have to pretend to be all cocky and cool when I'm with you" he said.

"That touched me" I said making him chuckle as he swing his hand over my shoulder and we walked to the cafeteria. 

I earned deadly glares from people.

"You are so gonna get me killed" I said.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Do you not see the glares" I said and he looked around glaring back and they a turned back to what they were doing.

We bought our lunch and sat at our usual table except there's somebody else and a load of books. It was Norton.

I sat down next to him and Daniel next to me watching Norton weirdly.

"Hey" I said making him look up from the books.

Why did he have so much homework?

"Hey" he said.

"How is it possible to have all this homework?" I asked.

"I do the popular kids math and science homework" he said.

"Let me guess you need help with the maths" I said and he nodded.

"I'll help you only this time but you need to tell them you can't keep doing their homework you aren't a homework machine." I said.

"Okay" he said.

I help him with the math. He had so much he didn't have time to eat and I found myself feeding him some in my hamburger and fries. Daniel kept whispered about how adorable it looked and I would just groan and roll my eyes.

We ended up in the same class again and sat down right next to each other.

It was home time but instead I was sitting in a diner helping him complete all these homework.

We sat ate and talked about mostly anything.

He's nice really nice, he's charming and I like his presence its really nice.

"If you only had one day to live what would you do?" He asked.

"I'd like to have an Italian meal, I'd like to go to a club and drink, I'd love to go to Italy and explore then I would want to find my true love and die in his arms" I said as I took a sip in my smoothie.

"Wow. I'd just want to spend a day with the love of my life" he said.

"Aww cute" I said and he smiled brightly as he packed the books into his bag.

He turned to me and we just stared at each other like in first period. I didn't notice but he lifted his hands and moved my hair from my face and to behind my ear.

"Has anybody told you the first thing that caught their attention about you is your eyes?" He asked.

"I get that a lot." I said.

"I ship you guy. You're a cute couple so can I get you two lovebirds anything?" The waitress asked.
