Starline POV

I have never in my entire life felt so awkward. No one knew that the bad boy is Norton they are leaving it for the school to guess on lunch time which has just started. Every time a girl tried to touch him he'd just say I'm taken. It was so weird. If someone tried to flirt with him and I was close he'd just kiss me and they'd just walk away.
Right now were sitting at the table and he is hiding all his books so no one could get to know who he is.

"Okay let's guess" a guy shouted as he stood on top the table.

"I think he's new here" a girl said and they looked to Norton for the answer but he shook his head.

"I think he's Dale" a boy said.

"Nope" Norton said.

"Can we asked the girlfriend?" The guy on the desk asked.

"No you can't. I already know who" I said.

"Are we giving up?" He asked.

"Yeah" they shouted.

"Who is he girlfriend?" He asked.

"Norton St. James" I said and everybody stare wide eyed as Norton put on his glasses.

"Dude you should really dress like that more I like it that way" the guy on the table said before getting  down.

Norton removed his glasses because they were of no use right now because he had contacts. He placed all his books on the table and continued reading some book as I fed him and Daniel kept bugging us.

After lunch we went to class. I have all the same glasses with him because ewe are both grade A students.

We sat in class and I felt like everybody was looking at me. Last period we met Daniel at the locker.

"Hey guys wanna go to a party?" He asked.

"Nope" I said.

"Come on. The rest of the week I a holiday then we have three weeks till Christmas holiday then a couple of months before college, prom,drama. At least one party" he said.

"I'm in" Norton said making me stare at him.

"Drive me to your house I'll get my car and go home" I said.

"I'll do that" he said.

"The party starts at nine" Daniel said.

"Okay I'll be at your house at nine thirty be ready" Norton said as we walked out of the school and went into his car.

We drove to his house and he parked in his driveway we kissed as we separated ways.

I opened the front door and my brothers and mother were in the kitchen. I went in and greeted them.

"Guys I found Norton" I said.

"Huh?" They asked confused.

"Do any of you remember Norton St. James son of Darrell St. James who died in the accident with dad. My best friend Norton" I said.

"We can forget you still ramble about him." They said.

I pulled the best  friend necklace from my shirt and they looked at me shocked.

"Norton from school,my boyfriend is Norton from back home my best friend" I said and they just stared at me.

"Seven years" my mom whispered.

"Anyways I'm going up I got a party to prepare for or Daniel and Norton would drag me out. Eric I need your help. You've been to a party what do girls wear" I said.

"Let's go shopping" he said.

"Party?" My mom asked. 

"I know. I'm just going because I do not want to be dragged down the stairs of this house." I said.

"Okay" my mom said as I placed my bag in the living room and Eric and I  left.

We pulled up outside a store and he brought me inside.

From the moment I walked inside I wanted to leave. These stuff are so  inappropriate.

"I'm gonna be honest sis. This is not you're kind of clothes but you have the body to rock it so let's put those curves to work" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"He's right you have the curves in all the good places you just have to rock them" a worker said to me. She was wearing a pink dress that hugged her tightly and showed her curves with black heels.

"Hi" he said.

"Hello. My advice to you is to give her what your girlfriend would wear to catch your attention" she said.

"That's a great idea" he said as he dragged me to the back of the store.

He stated shoving clothes and shoes in my hand then I just tried them all on. He likes them all unlike me. I didn't like them too much skin exposed and they vary covered anything. Then he dragged me yo a jewelry store and them a makeup store.

I've never shopped this much. We drove back to the house and it was 7:30  indicating I only had two hours together ready and I was starving.

I sat and had dinner before going upstairs and took a warm shower before dressing in what Eric chose for me.

It was a two piece. A shimmery pink bra and skater skirt that stop directly under my ass leaving my stomach outside.

I curled my hair before putting on contacts lens. I opened my YouTube and learned how to do my makeup while dawn sat and watched hoping I'd get it all wrong and give up but I got it all right on the first try. I'm a quick learner. I looked totally different.

Dawn left and then there was a knock on the door. I got up and opened my room door to see Norton and Daniel at the door all bad boyish.

"Lucky you guys didn't need to change much its different for me" I said with my head still in the crack of the door and my body was behind the door.

"I wanna see" Daniel said I opened the door wider and they both looked at me with their mouths hanging open.

"Are you sure your Starline?" Norton asked and I laughed before stepping out of the room and closing the door.

"Are we going or I you guys gonna keep staring at my ass?" I said as I started down the stairs and ten turned to them.

Norton hit Daniel behind the head before saying"don't watch my girl's ass"

We walked out of the house and into Daniel's car.
