Starline POV

I couldn't believe I found Norton after seven years when I had finally given up. I use to pray that if I went back to my home town that I'd fine Norton playing in the tree house at the back of my house. I used to talk about him so much my mom got really irritated. I used to wrote letters too they're still in my kid art case because I couldn't open it. I just couldn't it was torture, he is my hero,my dream guy and my best friend all in one. I had letters about my crush for him and how I wish I had told him and how I wish he was my first kiss.

We sat on the bed just staring into each others eyes. After seven year nothing about us had really changed. He still had the same smile and the same laugh. I let down my hair how I use to wear it when I was younger. He had his hand my cheek and I held his hand. We didn't need to speak to know how much we missed each other. He turned around and opened the bedside table and pulled put two boxes.

He opened the first one and it was our friendship bracelets. I had left them at his door step before I moved away. I hoped that he'd remember me and never forget me because I was determined to find him again.

"I'd never forget" he said sliding it on my hand before putting on his own.

He held the other box it was bigger.

"That day I wasn't home because I went  out to get this to promise you I'll be your best friend forever and that I'd always be by your side because you were my charm" he said.

He opens it and it was a best friend necklace and a ring with his name engraved in it. He reached in his shirt and pulled out the other half of the necklace.

"You never forgot" I said in a shaky voice as tears streamed down my face.

"Never could forget" he said as we hugged each other.

I'm practically blind because my vision is blurred with tears and I don't have my glasses on as we held on to each other too scared to let go again.

He pulled away and pinned the other half of the necklace around my neck before placing the ring in the hands. He lifted my head and kissed me.

This is officially the best day of my life. We lay on his bed watching my favourite movie called 'how to be single'. He hated that movie because its all girly and thinks they should make one in the men version. I lay my head on his chest as we watched TV and his mom finished preparing dinner.

"What's the craziest thing you've done since we separated?" He asked.

"I don't know maybe kick a guy in his grain" I said and he started laughing so hard he had to hold his stomach.

"Why?" He asked.

"He was being flirtatious and tried to kiss me without my permission so I slapped him but then he didn't want to moved so I kneed him in the grain and then lit a sigarette in his face and walked out swaying my hips. It was a dramatic exit had all the people in the hall laughing him." I said.

"Oh dear lord help me" he said laughing.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Okay so for my first girlfriend I didn't know how relationships work so I just walked up to her and kissed her but I didn't know she was in a relationship and I took on the boyfriend. I won and she was my girl" he said making me laugh.

"Wow that's a historical love story like the titanic. I am so blind" I said.

"Far sighted?" He asked.

"Yup. I can see the TV but you're a blur to me" I said and he slid on my glasses before pecking my lips making me smile like a maniac.

My phone started ringing so I picked it with looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Girl where are you?" Daniel asked.

"At someone's house" I said.

"Okay. I was gonna ask if you wanted to be a teenagers and come to a party tonight" he said.

"Nope I don't do parties. You should call Eric" I said.

"He's here already but just come to this one party" he begged.

"No" I said.

"Please" he said and I could just imagine him with his pout and puppy dog eyes.

"Nope" I said.

"Okay I've tried" he said in a disappointed voice.

"Whatever bye" I said.

"Bye" he said ending the call.

I placed the phone back on the bedside table and returned to Norton's chest. He kissed my head before passing his hand through my hair.

We finished watching the movie and then went down to dinner. We sat and the table with me next to him and our intertwined fingers on his lap. I looked down at our hands and smiled before looking up into his eyes.

"So to get this right Julie our Julie your best friend Julie is the girl sitting in front of us which you are also in love with." His sister said.

"Correct" he said.

"You told him?" She asked and my eyes widen and I shook my head no.

"Told me what?" He asked.

"You'll find out" I said.

"Oh my god. You need to show him the letters" she said.

"Gabrielle" I whined.

"I'm sorry" she said.

He fed me a piece of pancake.

"I'm gonna kill you" I said as I chewed.

"What in those letters?" He asked.

"You'll find out" I said shooting daggers at Gabrielle.

"Tell me" he whined looking so adorable like it was killing him.

"She's had a crush on you your six birthday and she has a box filled with love letters of why she liked you and a lot of attempts to write one to you to tell you how she feels" Gabrielle said making me put my he'd down on the table.

"Cute" his mother said.

Kill me please.
