Cinder Fall (yes, this is a chapter)

"Don't pretend that you don't feel the same way."

"Goddammit, Cinder, why can't you just admit that you like me?! Why is that so hard for you!?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

I groaned, glaring up at the slightly taller girl before speaking, "Are you kidding me? It's been about a year...and you still can't admit that you like me. Why?"

"I don't know."

"I feel like I'm having a conversation with a fucking wall, is that all you're going to say?"

"N-No...Listen, I don't have any of these answers...it's as simple as this; I don't know."

"Are you ashamed..? Is that it? Or afraid that this is too serious for you? What is it?"

"I don't know!" Cinder yelled, suddenly becoming extremely frustrated.

"No surprise there! I'm going, call me when you can give me an actual answer." I turned around to leave but Cinder stopped me, grabbing my wrist. I turned to face her, her eyes were pleading me to stay but she couldn't find the words to say anything, "Nothing, still?"

"...I'm...sorry.." I pulled my hand away from Cinder's and turned around once more, this time I wasn't stopped by Cinder as I walked out the door.

"I love you too." Cinder mumbled to herself as I left the room, unable to hear her.
