Desperate Plea

Chapter 4

Salva is determined. Gagawin niya ang lahat para lang mapatawad siya ni Soli. Even if magmukha na siyang tanga, wala siyang pakialam. All she wants is reconciliation. Gusto niyang maibalik ang kanilang nasirang relasyon. She can't live a day knowing that Soli hates her.

"Miss, kukunin ko po ang cake na inorder ko," sabi ni Salva sa cashier na nasa counter. She stared at her and when she recognised her face, she nodded and stood up.

Tiningnan niya ang papalayong anyo ng cashier habang naglalakad ito papunta sa nakasaradong pinto. While waiting, Salva sat on the couch and took her phone. Hindi niya napansing may pumasok sa shop na iyon dahil nakatutok lamang sa cellphone ang mga mata niya. Well, not until the new comer made his presence known.

"Hi Salva." Awtomatikong napatingin si Salva sa taong nasa harap niya. Her brows creased as she recognised who the man is.

"Rence," she said coldly.

"Mind if I sit beside you?" Rence didn't wait for her responce. He sat beside Salva and smiled at her. "So, ayos na ba kayo ni Soli?"

Salva was taken aback by his question. Who the hell is he ask to her this question? Of course, he's the stupid jerk who ruined their relationship. He doesn't deserve to know kung nagkaayos na ba sila. He's just nothing! Nais isampal ni Salva ang mga salitang "anong paki mo?" sa mukha ni Rence. What a jerk!

"We're doing fine. Why, are you concerned about Soli's well-being? Ask him yourself, or better yet ask him out. I'm sure he'll happily accept your invitation. And again and again, stop courting me," Salva said and stood up when she saw the cashier coming.

"Good morning Sir Rence," bati ng cashier kay Rence. Naguguluhang tumingin rito si Salva. "Anak po siya ng may-ari nitong shop ma'am. Sa katunayan, siya po ang nagbake ng cake na inorder niyo," the cashier added as she saw the confused look on Salva's face.

Salva smiled sweetly, but hate is evident in her eyes. "I volunteered to bake the cake when I heard that you ordered for it," Rence said and smiled back.

Tinaasan ni Salva ng kilay si Rence. It's one of the manners she learned from Soli. "Thank you for baking it, really, I'm grateful. But no thanks, babayaran ko na lang ang inorder ko pero hindi ko kukunin ang cake. Eat what you baked, Rence."

She put the money on the table and went out of the shop. Kung si Rence lang naman ang magluluto ng cake, well then sorry, huwag na lang.

"SOLI, why don't you consider Salva's feelings. You're being selfish, too selfish," Solenn said as she sipped the juice from the glass she was holding.

"Tsk, alam niya kung ano ang ginagawa niya, duh! Consider his feelings too," sabi ni Albie at inirapan si Solenn.

Solenn glared at him. "Kinakausap ba kita?"

"Whatever!" Albie rolled his eyes and looked at Soli. "Hoy, Soli, kausapin mo daw 'tong kapatid mo."

"Sumasagot-sagot hindi naman siya 'yong tinatanong," Solenn murmured and sipped the juice again. Kanina pa kasi sumasagot iyang Albie na iyan sa mga tanong niya. Eh alam naman nitong si Soli ang tinatanong ni Solenn.

"May sinasabi ka?" Albie raised his voice at her but Solenn just shrugged her shoulders. "Wala."

"Tsk, will you two stop it?" Soli said after drying his hair. Kakaahon lamang niya sa swimming pool at nakitang nag-iirapan na naman ang dalawang magkaaway na sina Solenn at Albie.

"Eh ikaw 'yong tinanong ko eh, tapos sinagot niya," Solenn said while pointing at Albie.

"Ano namang problem kung siya 'yong sumagot?" Soli said while crossing his arms.
