THIRD P.O.V

Christmas. Why hasn't it ended yet? Shrek was sat on the Slytherin couch, wondering the same thing. Lies. Fights. The memories clouded Shrek's brain, like the toilet water that was overflowing in the bathroom.
You see, the real reason Shrek disliked Christmas was not because he thought of it as useless, but because he was forced to believe it was useless.

Him and Waluigi sat in their swamp, it was a snowy Christmas day. Except they were both crying... Their parents were arguing. Fighting. Throwing fists. Biting.
"It'll be okay, Shrek." Waluigi comforted the worried, young ogre.

However, it, in fact, was never okay.

Shrek frantically shot onto his feet, trying to stop the thoughts but they just wouldn't stop punching him in the heart. Shrek felt agony and pain and... hurt...
But he's never allowed himself to believe his true feelings. No matter how strong they were.
He decided to wrap Draco's scarf around his neck and slide into his winter rag, heading towards the door. Before he could open it, something was already turning the knob on the other side. As the door opened, Shrek saw the boy. The boy that made him feel something. Something other than pain.
"Draco." Shrek said, calmly.
"S-Shrek... are you okay?" The blonde boy replied, worried.
Shrek just stood there, his head fell to look at the floor, as if a heavy weight was pulling it down. And I mean REALLY heavy because Shrek was one big fella with a heavy, metal head.

Metal that was leaking.

Panicking, Shrek quickly wiped his tears with his big muscular hands. No one had ever seen an ogre cry. Draco didn't act surprised, no. He opened his arms and wrapped them around Shrek's big body.
"It's okay if you aren't, Shrek."
Shrek felt so touched that the liquid kept pouring out of his eyes. Quietly sobbing.

"You know, people always think I'm a mean, snotty boy with rich parents. Well, they aren't wrong." Draco chuckled, his arm wrapped around Shrek's shoulder as they sat on his bed together. "But that's what makes it hard for me to show my feelings. I have lots of feelings. My father doesn't care about me and that hurts a lot. I have no opinions in my family, they choose everything for me."
Shrek raised his head to look into Draco's, which used to be cold and dark eyes, but now they were soft and warm. He then peaked down at his lips. They looked so inviting and... kissable. Before he knew it, Draco was leaning towards Shrek. Shrek didn't know what to do but he knew he didn't want Draco to stop. He wanted this. Draco's lips met Shrek's and Shrek held onto Draco tighter. He didn't want Draco to let go, he didn't want him to leave or abandon him.
There were many emotions circling Shrek's brain during the long, passionate kiss. But the strongest one was feeling loved. It was so amazing, the feeling, he had never felt it this much before... or at all.
Draco started to pull away but Shrek didn't want it to end, he buried his head into the younger ones chest, that was the best pillow ever, feeling a small, soft hand stroke the back of his head.
"I love you, Shrek..."
Shrek was so positive and sure of his feelings that he didn't hesitate to reply.
"I love you, too"

But the boys sweet moment was interrupted. A Slytherin boy ran in, Shrek and Draco quickly parting before he could see them.
"Shrek! The Professors need to speak to you, it's about your sister..."
Shrek's... sister? Waluigi?
He wasted no time to run to see what the news was, the emotions were more confusing than ever, but Draco followed him too.
Shrek prayed everything was alright.
He loved Waluigi.
