"Hello?" A soft, tinkling voice streamed in my ears. My eyes fluttered open, finding myself in a sunny garden. It was like a fairy tale. Apple trees and the sweet scent of honey flitted in the air. I sat up on the checkered picnic mat.
"How did I get here?" I pondered out loud.
"Y/N, right?" I whipped my head around and gasped at the sight of the person that spoke. His chestnut eyes shone with a peculiar interest. Sun Jiakai, one of the YHBOYS members leaned against the trunk of a tree, gaze set upon me. I have wished to see YHBOYS my whole life and now, one of them was standing in front of me.
What should I say? You're hot, marry me?
Before I could embarrass myself further with my mouth opening and closing like a fish, Jiakai spoke once again, voice tinged with worry.
"I take that as a yes, Y/N. Are you alright? I watched your mother hit you and you fainted after."
Me being the dumbo I was nodded dreamily. Out of the blue, it came to my realization that no one knew about my abuse.
"Wait, how did you know that? I never told anyone nor have they seen my mother beat me."
"You don't recognize me?"
I glanced at him from head to toe. "No- ," I started. Then it hit me. Nestling in his orangey hair was a blue cap that I have seen more than once today. His doe eyes more than resembled a creature I knew; they were identical.
"You're the puppy?" Whispering barely audible, I was mind-blown. I basically spent more than 3 hours of my life with a person I idolized. Jiakai slightly nodded, smiling to reveal pearly whites underneath.
"But- how? Pretty sure you're a human the last time I heard. I'm a big YHBOYS fan by the way. All of you are good at singing and dancing." I ranted in one breath. Jiakai chuckled lightly.
"That's nice to know. I never met a YHBOYS fan up close before. I know we barely met but you have to wake up soon. I'm not too sure what turned me into a puppy form. Meanwhile, I'll just stick by you. Rest well, Y/N."
"Wait, what? Did you even hear what I said about you not being safe-," Before I could finish my sentence, the connection cut off. Jiakai gave one last cheesy smile and waved.
I woke up and sat up on the mattress, breathing hard. The puppy's warm body was curled up against my chest. Was that all just a dream?
