"Wait, what? Did you even hear what I said about you not being safe-," Before I could finish my sentence, the connection cut off. Jiakai gave one last cheesy smile and waved.
I woke up and sat up on the mattress, breathing hard. The puppy's warm body was curled up against my chest. Was that all just a dream?
As if on cue, the puppy a.k.a could be Jiakai, shot up and gave me a cute bark and a doggish grin. I jumped back and hit my head on the wall. Nothing like getting ready to go to a school when I think I'm going nuts, I thought.
Brushing my teeth thoroughly, I recalled the dream that occurred in my mind last night. Maybe he really is Jiakai of YHBOYS. Nah, I'm probably hallucinating. But it all felt so real! Thinking about it made my head hurt. I grabbed my school uniform and double locked the bathroom door. Just in case so that 'could be Jiakai dog' won't literally have to see me nude. He has brains of a boy after all.
Feeling fresher than ever(not really), I walked out ignoring the aching soreness on my arms and hip bone from where my mum hit me last night.
However, when I was about to leave the house, the puppy ran to a man who was giving out leaflets to the passerby. And snatched one from him. I was a little embarrassed when the guy gave me a 'you are a terrible owner' look. Repeatedly, I apologised to the grumpy man. I was about to reprimand the naughty behaviour but stopped when the puppy flung the leaflet at my feet. Looking at me smugly, it pranced around proudly. Flipping over the slightly soggy piece of paper, I was shocked to discover what was printed on,
It was a brand advertising YHBOYS. And Jiakai's picture had filled the page.
