Y/N's Pov
Tossing and turning in bed, I knew that this was one of those sleepless nights. My brain refused to let go of the thought that Jiakai hated me.He probably despises the fact that I was a victim in almost every situation. It must have been a pain to carry such a heavy burden like me. Without knowing, my tears had started to stain my pillow. My body shook with sobs until it was still. Until I had passed out from exhaustion.
It was just like any other normal school day. I washed my hands at the sink in the girls bathroom, wringing them dry. As I exited the chlorine smelling place, a hardcover book came flying towards my head. I held my throbbing head in my hands and crumpled down.
"Y/N, Y/N. What will everyone do when they know the 'real' story of what happened to your parents. That you're so pathetic they can't stand you. You caused your own fathers death." Jillian advanced, giving no mercy.
"Crybaby!" Marianne taunted. I wanted to shout that it wasn't true. But most of all, I wanted this to end. To end my life. Away from bullies and the judgmental, cruel world. Closer to the sweet release of death.
The closed in, and the lights faded out.
Complete darkness. Then,
"Y/N, please don't worry. I'm coming back for you."

I did not understand. I thought Jiakai hated me. I heard his voice crystal clear in my dreams. That was what kept me going, a small hope that someone cared kept the smile on my face. I held on longer to my life line. Just a little longer.
"For you."

Jiakai's Pov
I clutched on to the small key ring, sending my message to the sleeping Y/N. I could sense her distraught. I had to go back soon.
"For you."
Biding Enshuo and Linma goodbye, I grabbed my bag in between my canines and ran at the speed of light. I'm coming, Y/N. Please hold on a little more.
If only love in real life was like that right?💖 That way they will always wait for us, no matter where we are.They'll always look back to see if we're still there. 😊
