ERG: Pokémon Name Challenge

So...if you guys have been following my randomness book, you might know that we've had a power outage for quite a while now. I didn't want to update this book until we got power because it would be more convenient to publish stuff on my laptop.

However, it's been days, and I don't want to delay this any longer. I know you guys are pretty patient people. You guys might be busy, so you might not even mind the delay. But ya know, I'm really the one holding things back because I can always take the less convenient method of publishing.

So yah I had to just remove the image since I don't think it really matters anyway.

I do wanna apologize for holding this one back.

Anyway...more authors notes that I included when I wrote this.

SO. If I messed up here at some point, I apologize. I started this at like 10PM. SO YAH.

I didn’t look up for Pokemon until the end of the event, so this required a lot of thinking.

Barry: LET’S JUST PROCEED TO THE NEXT EVENT.

Gary: F introductions.

Hilda: This was a little game we had back in the Elemeno Fall (or Winter) Games. It’s the Pokémon Name Challenge!

Gary: Basically, a player mentions a Pokemon, and then the next player mentions a Pokémon whose first letter starts with the last letter of the previously mentioned Pokémon.

Ash: Yep.

Gary: Sorry for my sentence construction, but it is how it is.

Hilda: Now, we have 12 Pokémon Peeps and 2 Pokémon OCs in the games. The non-Pokémon Peeps and OCs will have to be paired up with a Pokémon peep.

Barry: Not every Pokémon peep will have to be paired a non-Pokémon peep, though.

Drew: We’re assigning the pairings randomly.

Gary: Conway, Paul and Cilan will play only for themselves.

Paul: Thank goodness.

Conway: Oh...that’s a shame. I would have helped someone with my expertise.

Cilan: It would have been fun to pair up with someone, but I guess it’s less pressure.

Drew: As for the rest, you’ll have a non-Pokémon Peep counting on you for their points.

Ash: Monika and May.

Drew: Himeko and Gladion.

Gary: Chat Noir and Dawn.

Barry: Nino and Moon.

Hilda: Uraraka and Milani.

Ash: Luka and Misty.

Drew: Juleka and Tracey.

Gary: Marinette and Serena.

Barry: Nathaniel and Jace. Wow. If Jace wins this, he and Nath can get out of that bottom two spot.

Jace: Thanks.

Gary: Even though Julianne and Helena are OCs, they are Miraculous OCs. We still decided to pair them up with a Pokémon Peep.

Helena: I know my Pokémon tho.

Gary: OH WELL. Helena is with Hilbert. Julianne is with Red.

Hilda: If you mess up once, you are out.

Barry: We have 14 players on board. Winner gets 90 regular points and 10 protected points. Second place gets 80, third gets 70, fourth gets 60, fifth gets 50, sixth gets 40, seventh gets 30, eighth gets 25, ninth gets 20, tenth gets 15, eleventh gets 10, twelfth gets 5, thirteenth gets 1, and fourteenth gets none!
