"Maddie please." Josh says to me, tears still falling. I finally got the door unlocked after fiddling with it. "I'll talk to you later." I say and get out. The rain is pouring down hard now, and the school is still ten blocks away. Sighing, I pull my hood up and zip my hoodie up. I start toward school, stepping in many puddles. I then see a car pull over beside me. "Maddie please. Baby I can't let you walk." Josh calls from his seat. "Josh. Leave me alone." I say. I start walking faster once I hear the car door shut behind me. I hear footsteps and I get grabbed by my waist. We go back a few feet and I get forced into the passenger seat. "Josh! Let me out!" I yell, trying to open the door. "No." He says, pushing the car into drive. Sighing defeatedly, I look at Josh. The beauty of his eyes, the fluffiness of his hair, his acne free skin. It's perfect. "I'm sorry Joshie. I don't hate you. I just felt like you hated me so I wanted to get away." I say quietly. "I'm sorry too Maddie. You always want me to achieve things and I guess I wanted to feel like I was better then you." He says. He leans over quickly and pecks my cheek with his soft, reddish lips. Driving away, I look at the time and notice that we have missed first through third period. "Shit. We are super late." I groan. "Then lets just skip. I can pick Kenz and Paigey up after school." He suggests. I shrug. "I don't know." I ponder. "Please! We can hang out at my house!" He begs. "Fine." I giggle. He calls out 'Yes!' excitedly and drives away to his house.
