It's now 6:30. I sat on the edge oof my hospital bed waiting for Tati to come and get me. I couldn't help but think. McKenzie hasn't textexd called or anything. Something about her was off. Every since I found out she was pregnant i been having this uneasy feeling. I found out yesterday that i just got over a slight concussion from the impact my head had when CJ dropped me on the floor.
My door opened amd instead of seeing Tati, i say CJ's built musciline figure in my door way.
"No visitors, I'm getting discharged today." I said avoiding eye contact with him. I stared at the boring white wall behind him awaiting Tati's presence.
"Tati had some business to tend to. I'm taking you home." He said bending down grabbing my bag. I took that as my time to peep him out. He wore a plain white tee with a white American Eagle sign, Some black True Religions and fresh white 1's adorned his feet. I noticed he got his hair shaped up. Instead of his curly afro, He got a box. His sides were shaved low and his box was at the perfect height. It was curly and matched his glorious brown eyes. His patch of hair on his beard was shaved to perfection along with his mustache.
Mckenzie was luck as hell. I met his eyes and he smiled the same exact smile the day we met at school when i was crying my eyes out under the jungle gym. Unconciously i smiled back. He stuck his hand out for me to grab and i did. He swung the bad onto his shoulder at led me out the room. We rode the elevator down. He filled out my discharge papers and we left.When we got to my dorm building i opened my door to get out but he grabbed my elbow making me turn around. He used his index finger to guide my chin to his.
He placed his soft lips on mine making me forget everything i was mad at him for. He slid his tongue over my bottom lip asking for permission. I opened my mouth slightly as our tongues bgan to wander each others mouth. I let him lead the kiss until he pulled away dragging my bottom lip between his lips.
He cupped the left side of my face. "Baby i never stopped loving you. No matter what i never will. I know we not on good times right now, But i'mma make shit right. I promise. Remember that you hold that special place in my heart McKenzie don't." He pecked my lips once more then let go of my face. CJ always had his way with words. He could be wise when he wanted. And what he just said had me feeling some type of way.
I got out the car grabbing my bag then made my way to the dorm. When i got to the dorms i turned around a his face held a gorgeous smile. I waved once turning around going to the elevator. I pressed 4 going on up. When i got to my dorm i sat my bag down. I think i'm just gonna go visit McKenzie.
I walked back out my dor and made my way to the fifth floor. When i got there i knocked three times. She opened the door in a white oversized tee. She had on no bra, Her hair was all over her head. She was sweaty and musty. Not too mention the strong odor of sex that hit me when she opened the door. She smiled nervously.
"Girl i'm still tryna clean up from when Cj left earlier.:" She said in a fake cheery tone. So after all that shit Cj just said... I returned a fake smile.
"Aiight then girl. I'mma let you finish then." I said.
"Kay bye." She shut the door. Even though i thought CJ was there something was off. Shit just wasn't adding up. He didn't look like he had seex. Plus he wouldv'e been at basketball practice. Even then he would seem guilty or off.
