The baby bird in the forest,
It just wants to be free,
It just wants a place to call home,
It just wants to feel loved. The baby bird
It's so angry, hurt and afraid,
All it seeks is happiness and joy,
But it can't seem to find its way.The baby bird tries so hard,
To fly over the forests brick wall,
But each time it sadly falls,
And eventually starts to crawl,
No one to hear its desperate cries or calls. It is hurting,
But all the other animals can't see,
Baby bird wants its freedom from the darkness,
But its bounded by pain and a harness.© Danielle Patrick
