Fading away behind the moving the clouds,
The moon light shines From above.
Always entertaining with a show of perfection,
A glass mirror to reflect on.Next to it, I see a star,
From here I wish I could see mars,
A million miles in the direction of North,
A galaxy far across. But I thought stars were suppose to be yellow,
Well this one isn't, it's mellow.
With its silver-grey,
Reflecting the elegance of last may.Behind the moon and the stars,
There is a black back drop,
The sky is acting as a prop,
Blanketing the heavens like a frock,
A mixture of darkness and beauty it mocks and adopt.© Danielle Patrick
