Chapter 8

Gajeel P.O.V

My heart stopped as I saw Levy plummet from the sky. Theo has been bashed away and now she was in a free fall. "Lily!!" My black exceed shot through the air, transforming as he caught a limp Levy in his arms. Ronan roared in anger as his dragons were ripped from his control. I glared at him and charged him, covering my body in scales and turning my arm into a sword. He shot a ball of black energy towards me but I easily dodged. The twin requip mages stepped forward but a blast of lightning shot forward, taking them out easily.

Ronan stared wide eyed as I slashed at him. He quickly jumped back but that didn't stop me. I quickly stepped forward, stabbing again. He cried out as he grabbed his now bleeding side. "Iron Dragons Roar!" a tunnel of metal collided with him sending him backwards. He staggered to his feet, pulling shards of metal from his skin. I didn't give him time to react as I shoved my sword through his gut. He looked at me, his eyes wide and blood trickling from his mouth. He crumpled to the ground and lay motionless. Laxus had easily taken out the twins and I could see everyone else gathered a ways away.

I rushed over, Gray and Natsu moving out of my way. Levy was laying with her head in Juvias lap. Her eyes were closed but her face was scrunched in pain. My heart twisted as I saw her left side. Only her hand and forearm were still white, the blackness slowly taking them. It also creeped up her neck and the side of her face. Her breathing was shallow and ragging and she was growing paler by the second. I fell to my knees beside her and took her right hand in mind. "You said you wouldn't leave damn it!" I said in a rough whisper. Wendy was doing everything she could and Lucy was trying not to cry.

A movement behind us caused us to look, and see the blue dragon pull herself up right. Everyone but Juvia and I backed away to give her room. She stood towering before us, but she was smaller than Metalicanna, even Igneel. She lowered her head so se was just above Levy. Her deep aquamarine eyes tearing as she saw the broken girl. "My strong child. You've fought so hard for those you love." She said quietly. She looked over at me and we stared at each other for a long time.

"You are her mate, yes?" Damn it were all dragons this nosey? Metalicanna asked the same thing. But this time I had an answer. I nodded slowly, unable to find a voice. She almost seemed to smile before looking back down at Levy. "You hear that child? Your friends are waiting for you. And so is this boy." she cooed softly. She blinked and a large tear fell, stopping just over the little bluenette. It slowly sank into her skin and incased her in a blue glow.

The blackness slowly faded away, though it left a slight scarring on her face and neck. Like a black burn. It left her completely, even her left leg was clean though it looked weak. The pain left her face but she didn't wake up. "She has use up all of her magic energy.
Right now the best thing for her is rest." Tsundera said when she saw our worried looks. "But we must hurry to the palace." she added as she lowered herself so we could climb on.

Igneel also lowered himself, Natsu immediately climbing on before pulling Lucy up, Gray close behind. Wendy, Juvia, Laxus and I climbed onto Tsundera. I held Levys limp form close as the dragons lifted into the air. The palace was set in the horizon, dozens of dragons circling around. "How do we get near the gate with all of those dragon?" Wendy said in a frightened tone. "We have friends sky child," Tsundera said with a small smile. "Now, no matter what. Do not make a sound. Everyone must be silent." Igneel said as he flew beside us. "Especially you Natsu." He grumbled. "Oi!" He shouted, only to get smacked by Lucy.

As we approached, a wave of magic passed over everyone. It felt like a large heavy blanket was thrown over us. "Now is when your silent." Tsundera said quietly. We nodded as she flew us straight into the whirl of dragons.

{Hello my little leaves!(I'm gonna start calling you guys that.) Iv decided to start a new series once I get caught up. Fairy Tails Fairy Tales! ElfGreen or Gale will be Beauty and the Beast (can't decide.) Gruvia will be the little mermaid. I am having a hard time deciding on what for who. They don't have to be Disney so throw anything out there for me! Also I will be starting a NaLu mobster story soon}
