「 time check; 18:47 」 「 ship; renhyuck 」
"this is so cheesy." donghyuck mumbled, leaning his head on renjun's shoulder while they watched some cliché movie about a girl and a guy who fall in love in high school.
"shut up, it's still sweet." renjun mumbled, his arm snaking around his best friend's shoulders. the chinese boy was a sucker for these kinds of movies, so much so that donghyuck ended up just watching renjun's facial features lit up by the huge screen instead of the movie itself.
renjun caught donghyuck just gazing at him after a while, which made him blush.
"s-stop staring at me." the chinese boy scolded, taking his eyes off the huge screen and moving them towards donghyuck, who shook his head cutely. "no." he giggled quietly, watching renjun pout.
"you look so cute when you pout just like that!" the younger beamed, resting his head back onto renjun's chest and just looking up at him from there.
"i-i said s-stop..." the chinese boy whined. and though he wanted to push donghyuck away from his accelerating heartbeat that he was causing, he was, quite literally, getting lost in the latter's eyes.
renjun's heart had always yearned for donghyuck, and every single time the boy did something as simple as just brushing their hands together, renjun's crush always grew bigger.
it was annoying, really.
"i don't wanna stop." the korean boy teased, inching closer to renjun's face. he mentally thanked the room for being dark, because his face was redder than it could possibly get.
"stop or i'll kiss you." renjun blurted out randomly. he didn't think he had the guts to say it, but there it went.
he blamed it on donghyuck and his stupid, soft looking lips he had been staring at for a while now.
and then, he saw those lips curve into a cute smile.
"i don't mind that." the korean boy whispered, also wanting to desperately close the space between them. he knew he was going to do it, his best friend was a shy lil' baby boy.
and so, after staring into the latter for a short while, donghyuck leaned forward and gently pressed his lips up against renjun's.
the kiss sent butterflies throughout both boys' bodies. it was full of sparks, and that pure, puppy love everybody experiences.
donghyuck placed his arms around renjun's small waist, holding him in place, while renjun draped his arms over the other's shoulders.
the two broke apart for air, intense blushes covering both their faces as they gave each other a loving gaze.
"...c-can i kiss you t-this time?" the chinese boy asked timidly. and it wasn't because he was unsure of his feelings, it was because he just wanted to feel the boy's lips on his again.
donghyuck tilted his head cutely and smiled. he pulled the small boy onto his lap, pecking his forehead before looking back into him.
"go nuts." the korean boy told, allowing renjun to kiss all over his face, which he ended up doing.
renjun giggled. of course he was going to take up the chance to pepper his crush's face and lips with pecks.
the two kissed for the rest of movie, not giving a care about their surroundings and just relishing in each other and every emotion they were feeling.
