"how were your exams today, baby?" yukhei asked as he sat his boyfriend down on his lap after a long day of testing at school.
renjun was in his final year of high school while yukhei was already in college. it was nearing spring, which meant lots and lots of exams for the younger.
he was in a whiny and pouty mood, seeing as how he was stuck in a chair for six hours consecutively circling and bubbling countless of letters.
renjun didn't respond to yukhei, but instead huffed and crossed his arms.
it was just not his day today.
the taller frowned at renjun, standing up from their sofa with him still in his arms and walking towards the bed they shared together. it was still messy like how they left it this morning, but it still held their warmth in it.
yukhei sat right in the middle, laying the smaller boy down on top of his body and just giving him a soft kiss on the lips.
renjun responded after a few seconds, lazily kissing his boyfriend in return.
yukhei disconnected the kiss and ran a hand through the smaller boy's hair, making him smile slightly. the older giggled at that little smile renjun gave off, simply capturing his lips with the younger again. yukhei sat up and gently caressed renjun's waist while they kissed.
"you do realize you're super cute, right?" yukhei mumbled against the smaller boy's lips, causing him to pull away with his cheeks tinted pink.
"s-stop..." he whined softly, burying his head into the taller's chest. yukhei rocked him side to side in his lap for a short while before grabbing his face gently and smothering him in endless kisses.
now, renjun was full on laughing.
he didn't even feel mad anymore.
the boy was squirming to get out of yukhei's hold because it tickled.
"yukhei! get off!" renjun screamed, only to feel his lover kiss and cuddle him even more.
that was one of the reasons why he loved yukhei.
he knew how to make him happy just like that.
the taller stopped after another short while, now just cradling renjun in his lap.
"do you feel better now?" yukhei asked the younger quietly, playing with his hands.
renjun placed a kiss on one of yukhei's hands.
"always when i'm with you." he responded, now bear hugging the older's broad frame.
the two collapsed back onto their bed, and ended up taking a long nap together after a fit of giggles.
