the entire group of nct were out in a typical grocery store, luckily without any managers to look after them since they were all busy with something.
that meant they had the liberty to actually be themselves without being corrected every ten seconds.
and although the many secret couples among nct were with each other and acting all lovey-dovey, a sparking relationship between two certain males was the center of attention for everyone.
"stop poking me!" ten called out, seeing hendery right behind him, giggling at every response he got from the older because whatever it was, it was adorable.
"okay, sorry." the taller mumbled, arms now finding a place to rest on ten's waist. he blushed a light pink, but continued going around the isles with his shopping cart and everyone else as well.
hendery hugged on the smaller male for a while, earning teasing and smirks from the other members and causing ten to blush harder, though in his head he was really loving everything about it.
he was loving how his heart fluttered when hendery was all up on him, whispering and whining in his ear about how he didn't want to let go because then he would miss him. the two would flirt constantly, but up to recently it has been really messing with ten's head.
eventually, the entire group had gotten what their priorities were from the store, and all went to the checkout lines. they stood and waited, which gave ten the opportunity to turn and face the younger who still had his arms locked around him tightly.
"why are you so clingy today?" ten giggled, looking up at hendery and his gorgeous smile. the younger shrugged, now pulling ten in for a proper, full and long hug.
the others just watched and cooed to themselves, knowing their relationship was going to end up with them officially dating one way or the other.
"wait, guys! we forgot the dorm snacks!" jisung suddenly exclaimed, tugging on taeyong's arm to go and get them before they had to pay. he realized jisung was right, and before they left to go get some, hendery suddenly chuckled.
"no we didn't. the snack is right here." he said, abruptly picking the thai male up and placing in the center of the shopping cart.
"awee!!" everybody suddenly exclaimed all at once, causing ten to scramble to get out of the cart and huddle into hendery's chest and just magically disappear.
the younger was able to see ten's red cheeks and all the strangers looking at them like they were crazy, so he picked the male off of the cart and held him in his arms like a child.
"oh my god... w-why would you- ugh." ten groaned, stuffing his face into the taller's neck and staying in that same position for the rest of the time at the store and the entire car ride home.
