The green caped figure leaned against the tree, arms crossed, looking down on the house that was under the branch he stood on, a mischievous grin spreading across his bronzed skin.

Perfect.

"Is everyone in position?", he asked, apparently talking to himself.

"Aye aye, captain green," answered a less manly voice.

"I'm in poshition!", continued a muching voice.

"Ready when you are, Malicios," finished a deep feminine voice.

The envious Reaper's smirk grew.

"Let's get this party started then! S, the honor is yours pal."

As the first order was given, a kid came from around the corner, gluttonously licking an ice cream, his mother following closely behind, chit chatting on the phone.

"Time to unleash the puppet", whispered Malicios to none other than himself. With a flick of his wrist, a small boy, seemingly homeless, crossed the road, coming face to face with the kid holding an ice cream. Eyes narrowed and mouth watering, an emotion overpowered the starving Johnny.

Envy.

Before the ice cream kid could even say 'Hi', the homeless kid, Johnny, had snatched the ice cream from his hand, and had taken off running, crossed the street, and had continued fleeing on the next sidewalk. Blinking, it took the dumbfounded kid about 10 seconds to realize what had just happened, and another 5 for him to start running after him. He however did not manage to catch up; for as soon as he began running down the streets, he tripped on his shoelaces and fell face first on the asphalt, somehow breaking his foot in the process.  Alarmed by the agonizing cries of her kid, the mother started screaming at him to get back on the safe side of the road, oblivious to her injuries, too worried about the scene he was causing rather than the state he was in. In the distance, engine sounds could be heard, drawing nearer and nearer to the victim of stealth who sat in the middle of the road, bawling his eyes out from the pain. The mother, ashamed by the childish behavior of her son, and already feeling the judgement and embarrassment she would be put through the next day at church,  jumped in front of him, urging him to get up, trying to get her son out of the road, not noticing the truck which was headed straight towards them, its breaks having given out. Finally realizing both her son's injury and the truck, the mother frantically tried pulling her kid- who was twice her size- out of the way, the driver of the truck begging them to move, a horrified expression plastered on his face as he realized the wheel had just gave in to all the pulling he was doing on it. Regardless of the frail mother's attempts at pulling her kid out of harm's way and her warrior and exasperated screams, the injured and ice cream-less kid wasn't able to move, and neither was the truck.

The mother's screams of despair were drowned out by the horn of the truck, until they were no more.

The woman and her kid might've turned into a bloody omelette -which would most likely make the headlines of tomorrow's journals-, but the truck wasn't done yet. With its brakes still not working, its gear broken and its wheel decapitated, the huge truck came crashing into some now deceased person's living room, sending the driver flying to his death.

Malicios applauded, a proud smile smeared on his face.

"Great job, people! That was by far the most spectacular kill of the day!" congratulated the Green Reaper, soon answered by the cheer of his three reaper friends.

As it turned out, combining their powers made killing that much more interesting.

"C'mon guys! We have a soul to follow!" beamed Sakhi, running in the same direction the ice cream thief had taken.

Malicios chuckled, happy. It had been a long while since he had last seen Sakhi this excited and proud of herself, which made her even cuter than she already was.

"She's right. Johnny Annoyance, we're coming for you!" screamed Raza, following the Gluttonous Reaper.

Envy jumped from his branch, landing next to Valentia, who was waiting for him. Together, they followed their friends, not knowing they were about to witness the weirdest of things.

About two blocks away from where the terrible and totally not set up mass murder that had happened, in one of the dark alleys of this city, was the door that lead into the house of Johnny Annoyance. Sitting in a hidden corner, enjoying his stolen ice cream, Johnny suddenly jumped at the sound of his front door closing, marking the return of his father. The thief gulped.

"Johnny Johnny!"

The boy shivered

"Y-yes Papa?"

Papa Annoyance threw his keys on the dirty table so hard that they fell on the floor. Cursing, he bent down to pick them up. His attention was however captured by a drop on the floor. It was white, and liberated a sweet aroma their family's shitty situation hadn't allowed them to taste in years. Papa picked it up with his index, bringing it to his lips, and tasting it. He was right.

"Eating sugar?!" asked the father, furious.

Johnny jumped, terrified. He was discovered. Immediately, he grabbed a bag from the cabinet next to him, reluctantly throwing the sugary sin in it and hiding it behind his back, just before his dad barged into the room, looking at him suspiciously.

"N-no Papa!" answered the kid as innocently as he could.

That same innocent smile Johnny had plastered on his face moments ago was ripped off by the harsh slap of his father. Shocked, the kid dropped the bag containing the fatal evidence, holding his cheek with both hands, horrified by the wrath that was flowing from his father.

Papa wrapped his hands around his son's tiny neck, before snapping it in one swift motion.

"That's what you get for telling lies, you worthless piece of-"

Before he could say another word, a green viper appeared out of nowhere, tying itself around his neck, and injecting him with its fatal venom, causing the child abuser to fall on the floor next to Johnnny's lifeless body, dead as well.

"Well done, Muwana," said Malicios to the viper which was now laying on his shoulders, licking his face with its reptilian tongue.

"Did we really have to let that kid get killed by his dad? I would've been more than glad to kill him myself, he IS a food thief, after all. But I mean, to have his own dad kill him? That's pretty cruel, even for us," said Sakhi, still shocked by the brutality of what had happened.

"I'm sorry. We should've interfered earlier," said Malicios, a soft and apologetic expression on his face.

"It's fine," sighed the Bear like girl. "I guess he did kinda deserve it."

Valentia laughed next to her, giving Malicios a pat on the shoulder.

"Your plan was rather brilliant, Mal. I'm impressed."

Malicios returned her smile, feeling proud of himself. Valentia rarely complimented anyone; so her kind words were considered pure gold.

"Yall are still here?" called out Raza's voice from the front door. He continued, "I was able to reap 3 souls at the hospital! You guys need to come ASAP. Doctors are giving out lives for free! We literally CANNOT miss this opportunity!"

The other reapers nodded, leaving their 79th crime scene of the hour, heading towards their next one: The Hospital.
