Epilogue

"So, can I know why you were so insistent that Suzanne stay at home for this?" William asked into my hair with his arms wrapped around me from behind.

We have officially been married for a full month now and barely just returned from our honeymoon trip in Hawaii.

Now, we were standing in the airport again and facing the gate where all the passengers were entering the terminal. We have been standing here for a full hour now, just waiting.

"I don't see why I should. Seeing as she didn't listen to me anyway." I grumbled and sent a silent glare at Suzanne who was busy throwing chips at Lucas. It would have been amusing to watch them acting like children, if it wasn't for the fact that they were at the airport, with us. I wasn't ready to have both of my immature friends meeting for the first time with me in the immediate facility. It was like signing my own death certificate.

"Oh come on, it can't be that bad, can it?" William whispered in my ear.

I sent him a small smile before glancing down at my hand. I was still getting used to the idea of being married but William was making it easy for me. He would barely let me pass a single day without reminding me of how much he loved me.

We moved to the beach house almost a week before the wedding, after arranging with his friends that they could have my penthouse. It was a win-win situation, seeing as the boys could still come and visit whenever they wanted and the girls liked the spacious bathrooms in the penthouse. Each room had its own en-suite bathroom. As soon as the boys saw the large LCD television up against the wall, they agreed almost at once, to move in there. Both places were already fully paid so it was a bargain, just switching houses.

"Oh, believe me, it can be." I mumbled and turned my focus back on the gate.

"At least I'm here for support." He changed his tactics.

I grinned over at him and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Yes, you are, and I will prove to you how much I appreciate it tonight." I winked up at him.

I stated laughing when I felt him pulling me closer up against his chest and rolled my eyes.

"Don't tempt me too much, dear, or I might just forget about your boss's arrival and drag you back home." He whispered into my ear.

I knew I was blushing when I heard a gagging sound from my side. William and I both looked over to see his brother and Suzanne making the gagging sounds.

"Jeez guys, we're barely even welcoming you back home and you're already making us sick with all your lovey dovey, puppy eye looks." Lucas stated with a smile on his face.

"Keep it up Luke, and you'll find yourself living on the beach side and not in our house." William threatened teasingly.

I chuckled at the horror filled look Suzanne sent Lucas.

They moved in to the house just after we returned home. Apparently, even though they were just engaged, they figured it was time they started living together but none of the two actually had the money to do so. So, being the super cool big brother they never knew William to be, he allowed them to take up one of our three spare rooms. Up until now, it's been kind of fun having those two clowns around, though I see a disaster coming when my brothers and William's friends decide to come visit.

Anthony and Eric were still living with my parents but they were paying rent now and were almost done with their studies. I admit that I was disappointed when I invited them to come live with us and they turned down the offer but somehow, I knew it was for my benefit that they did that. Anthony had finally gotten himself a steady girlfriend as well, which was a bonus. Eric was still his single old self, and both of them still worked together to drive my parents nuts.

We had a good amount of people at the wedding too, mostly clients of mine or people from the magazine that I actually knew. The only ones from the magazine that I actually really wanted to come, of course, couldn't make it.

Phoebe and Gavin were still repeatedly apologizing for not being able to make it. Phoebe was too far along in her pregnancy to risk flying in for the wedding, which I understood completely. Turns out, she gave birth to a baby girl at the same moment that William and I boarded the plane for our honeymoon on our wedding day. I was so happy for them, I was grinning like a fool throughout the plane ride, which was a miracle seeing as I'm a nervous flyer.

The best part about Phoebe and Gavin having a baby girl? They named her after me.

"HOPE!"

I broke out of my thoughts when I heard the exclamation. William jumped at the same time that I instinctively stepped to the side, not wanting him to get hit as well. It already happened too many times with Suzanne living with us now.

I barely got to look up before I got slammed into by Phoebe and we both went falling to the floor in a heap. There was a moment of silence from my surrounding friends before Suzanne burst out laughing with Lucas and William just stared at me with a slight smile pulling at his lips.

"I can't believe I'm finally seeing you again!" Phoebe yelled in my ear while awkwardly hugging. Being pressed to the floor with someone half strangling and half hugging me, was probably the one thing in the world, I was getting used to and no one else even got to experience.

"Phoebe, Baby, you're scaring our daughter."

Having a déjà vu moment, I looked up at the finely dressed man I knew to be my boss. He was looking just as charming and perfect as per usual but this time he had a bundle in a pink blanket, balanced in the crook of his arms.

"Hello Hope, it's good to see you again." He chuckled down at me.

"Yes, I guess it is. I must say Gavin, you keep growing taller every time."

We shared a laugh while Phoebe grumbled something about me being immature. Soon, I was finally on my feet and wiping off the slight dirt I picked up. William took a stand at my side and took hold of my hand.

"Oh, I must say Hope, William sure does look a lot better in real person than on paper." Phoebe was kind enough to break the silence.

Colour immediately flooded my cheeks at the memory of her first seeing the sketch of Will.

"I'm Phoebe and this is Gavin, my husband." Phoebe shoved Gavin a little forward and the two men sent Phoebe a strange look before shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries. "Good, now that they're occupied..." She muttered and moved me over to the side. "I hope you didn't look this dreary on your wedding day." She reprimanded at once, sending my plain white dress a disapproving look.

"Oh, she looked great on the wedding day but since then, her taste in clothes took a nose dive." Suzanne stepped up to us and dread filled me at the grin she sent Phoebe. "I'm Suzanne; by the way, you must be the infamous Phoebe?"

"Indeed, so, Suzanne, do you mind if we dragged you along to go shopping this weekend?" Phoebe and Suzanne both settled their gazes on my clothes. "It's a fashion emergency."

I sighed in defeat just as William, Lucas and Gavin joined our gathering again.

Will slipped his arm around my middle and leaned in to place his lips right beside my ear.

"I understand your fear now."

I love my life.
