Friends with Drama

Alia's P.O.V.

It's been awhile since I moved in with Jon. When I told my friends, they were all happy for me, except for one. Selisya. She has been my friend since elementary and she's like a sister to me. But when I told her about me moving in with Jon, she wasn't happy.

She's never happy when I'm dating someone. She gets jealous and she trys looking for someone but then it goes wrong.

I feel bad for her but she doesn't know what I've been. I never told her about what my parents been doing. She would just call them racist. And I hate that.

Thank god Meranda is by side, no matter what. She's been helping through this battle with my parents. She's been going through the same thing but not as much. Meranda is like another sister to me. Jon and I have always been by her side.

Right now, I'm in first period with Meranda. We're both sitting next to each other in the back, drawing. We have a sub. When ever we have one, I would draw, read, or rp with Jon.

As I'm drawing, I get a text from Jon. I open up the text and it says, 'Hey, babe. When it's time for luch, meet me by my car. Okay?' I smile to myself and text back, 'Yea, see u then. Luv u.' I set my phone done and I see Meranda looking at me.

"What is it?" I ask her. "Who you texting?" She asks and I feel heat rising to my cheek. "Jon." I tell her and her mouths o. "What's he asking?" "I meet at his car when lunch comes." I tell her. She smiles and I smile back.

"You better make sure Selisya doesn't see. You know what she thinks about Jon and stuff." I nod my head and the bell rings. Meranda go to our next class.

The rest of my periods went by fast til lunch. I then start making my way to the parking lot, also making sure that Selisya doesn't see me.

Before I enter the parking lot, I hear my name be called behind me. "Alia!" I stand frozen where I am and slowly look behind me. 'Shit.' I say in my head as I see Selisya.

"Hey CeCe. Whats going in?" I ask her as I act like I wasn't doing anything.

"Where you going?" She asks furious with her arms crossed across her chest.

"No where." I tell, lying.

"Hmm, I know you Alia. Please don't tell you're going to Jon" She asks as her face is real mad. I don't say anything. "Alia, I don't like Jon, at all. I don't want you near him."

"He's my boyfriend. I can see him if I want. You're not my parents." I tell her as I turn on my heal and start walking to Jons car. Then, all of a sudden, I feel a hand on my arm, jurking me back. I turn my head and see Selisya pulling me back into the school.

"I don't trust him Alia. Get it through your damn head. He's not a good guy!" She yells in my face. I take my arm that free, raise my hand and slap Selisya across the face. She lets go of my arm and and puts her hand on her cheek, where I slapped her.

I step back and I hear running behind me and hear my name being called. I recognize the voice being Jons. He stops running and stands behind me, putting his hands on my arms. Selisya looks at me and says, "If we were really friends, you would listen to me. But you're not. We're not friends anymore." She says as she turns on her heal and walks back into the school.

I turn around into Jon's chest and tears start to fall. Jon wraps his arms around me, holding me tight. "I'm sorry, babe."

"It's not your fault. CeCe wasn't thinking. She doesn't trust me and won't listen." I say into his chest between sobs. Jon lifts up my head, making me look up at him. He then wipes my tears away and kisses my forhead. I relax in his touch and then leads me to his car.
