Chapter 7

(Hadley's POV)

When I woke up I peeked out my door just to make sure Harry wasn't out their. I looked around and nothing. He must have left last night. I tip toed down stairs and walk in to the kitchen and just my luck he was down their. No not Harry, my other dad.

"So I heard what happened last night."

He said sipping his tea.

"Yea..."

"It's okay, love. he was just being over protective." He said putting his arm around me and give me a kiss on the forehead. "He just met you a month ago, he just wants to protect you.

"I know." I said. "Oh and by the way I have a date Friday with Luke at 7:30."

"Ok when was I supposed to know about this? Today's Friday."

"It is!? Oh shit! How long was I asleep?"

"Watch your language and only one night."

"What time is it?" I say pouring some tea.

"Around 1 o'clock."

"1 o'clock?!" why didn't you wake me up earlier?!

"Because your door was locked."

"Ugh." Sometimes I just think I only have half a brain. I'll be upstairs getting ready."

As I walked up stairs I got a text from Luke.

L: hey is it ok if I pick you up around 5:30 instead of 7:30? I thought we could go get something to eat before the movie.

H: yea! that's fine! Btw I live across the street from the recording studio. The number is 5435.

L: thanks! see you then beautiful!

Great. Now I only have five hours to get ready. Could this day get any worse!

5 hours later

"He should be here any minute." I said running down the stairs.

"You look beautiful." Dad said

"Thank you."

I was wearing my rose skater dress with black ballerina flats. My hair was volumized and curled to perfection. For my makeup I put on mascara, with eyeliner and foundation with powder and blush and red lip stick

Just as I was going back upstairs the doorbell rang. Luke was standing their in a red white and navy flannel shirt with a plain black shirt underneath. He was also wearing red vans with dark skinny jeans. He looked so perfect!

"Hi."

"Hi."

"Are you ready?" he asked

"Ya let me just go grab my purse!"

I ran upstairs and grabbed my purse.

"Hey I'll be at uncle Liam's tonight, so when your done go their! Love you!" Dad yelled at me before we left.

"Love you too dad!"

"I thought Harry was your dad?" He asked

"He is. We just me for the first time last month. It's complicated." I said to him as we got in the car.

"That's fine. I completely understand."

"So where are we going to eat?"

"It's a surprise!"

When we got their I got out of the car and he put his hand over my eyes.

"Surprise!" He said uncovering my eyes.
