The next morning I woke up feeling cold and sneezing. I got out of bed and put on bunny slippers and my fluffy PINK robe. I walked downstairs to where my parents were.

"Dad can I stay home today, I feel cold and I stuffed up." I said nasally.

"You feel like you have a fever." he said putting his hand on my forehead.

He we to the medicine cabinet and pulled out a thermometer.

"Here." said putting it in my mouth.

He took it out and it said 101.31

"Ya your not going anywhere today." Thank God. "But I have to go to the doctors today at twelve thirty and I'm not leaving you here by yourself."

"But daddy will be here!" I coughed

"I no I won't I'm heading off to work."he gave me kiss on my head. "Bye." he kissed dad.

"But I don't want to go to the doctor with you!"

"Why not?"

"It's just awkward." I mumble.

"Just so you know I'm finding out the gender today."

"Never mind, I guess I could go!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I want to know! I want a baby sister!" I said sounding even more nasally.

Went back up to my room and got my blanket and MacBook and came back downstairs.

I watched Netflix and got on YouTube. I watched American Horror Story and Friends.

When he told me to go get ready and I went up stairs and put on a loose fitting grey tee shirt and dark blue skinny jeans with whole in them and a cream knit scarf with my Uggs moccasins. I curled my hair went dads room.

"Are you ready?" I walked in.

"Yeah." He smiled and looked down at pregnant belly.

"Do you want me to drive." I asked since I have my drivers permit.

"Could you?"

"Yeah." I grabbed the keys.

I got in the car with dad in the passenger seat.

"Are you ready?"

"Yea, I'm nervous though.

"Were you nervous to see what I was going to be?" I asked pulling out of the gate.

"Yea, but it's only natural I think."

"Yea. Oh by the way Brooke and I are going to get our nails and tanning done next Friday after school."

"Okay, is prom next Saturday?"

"Yup! I'm so excited!" I smiled.

"I can tell." He laughed.

When we got there I dropped dad off at the front and parked the car, so he wouldn't have to walk all the way.

He checked in and we were called back almost immediately.

"Hello Louis how are you today?" The female doctor asked.

"Good! I brought my daughter with me today." He smiled.

"My how've you grown! Last time I saw you, you were this big." She treated me like 6 year old.

"So are you ready to find the gender of baby today?"

"Definitely!"

He rolled his shirt up and she squirted the gel on his growing belly. She moved the wand around until she found the baby.
