Chapter 38

Louis POV
"OUT OF MY WAY!" I tried to move through people. There where two men holding me back.

"Sir we can't let you go back there!" One of the police man held me back.

"But that's my daughter!" I finally got through and to her. She was unconscious and there's bleeding from her leg and side.

"Can I ride with her?" I asked crying.

"If you're her father than yes."
I got in the back of the ambulance with her and held her hand. They dressed her wounds.
Once they got to the hospital the rushed her back because apparently something had gone wrong. After they had rushed her back I sat in the waiting room alone.

I called Harry and told him everything. He said he was on his way and taking Mackenzie to his mums.

"Is she okay?" He jogged over to me.

"They haven't said anything. I'm scared what if something happens." I clung to him

"She'll be okay, I promise. She's a strong girl." He held me close.

After I finally let him go I called everyone. They all came and even Brooke since she wasn't at school today thankfully.

"Which one of you is Hadley Tomlinson's father?" the doctor towards us.

"We are. Is she okay?" I asked on the verge of tears again.

"She fine. She as a small stab wound on her side, a fractured femur and a gun wound on her calf." I started crying again. "But don't worry we cleaned it out and stitched her up and put and cast on." he said reassuringly.

"Can we see her?"

"Sure, follow me."

We followed him to a room off to the side for overnight stays.

"Baby girl!" I ran to her once I saw that she was awake.

"Dad!" she tried to move but couldn't because of her wounds.

"I'm so glad your okay!" I held her close. "I thought I lost you!"
Harry joined in and we all started crying.

"So what happened?" I asked sitting down next to her and she took a deep breath

"I remember the principle coming over the intercom and calling code white. We got under our desk and then two guys with guns and a knife. They yelled and then they shot someone. Then they came towards me and I closed my eyes and I felt a sharp pain in the leg and side. That's all I remember." She cried into my chest.

"It's okay. It's all over." I calmed her.
We heard a knock on the door and saw the rest of the guys and family.

"We're so glad your okay!" they all rushed towards her. Brooke literally jumped on her and hugged her to death.

"We were so scared we had lost you!" Liam said coming towards us. There was just a moment of silence after. They stayed and talked for awhile.

Once they had all left it was nearing night time.

"Dad will you stay here with me?" she said looking up at me.

"Of course." I smiled.

"Do you want anything to eat?" Harry asked grabbing his car keys.

"Can you please go get me some Chinese food?"

"Course baby girl." he gave her a kiss and left.

"How are feeling?" I asked pulling a chair up next to her.

"I can't feel my leg or my side." she looked at her leg.

I looked at her and started crying. Just thinking of what all had just happened to her. She's my baby and I don't want to see her hurt.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm just glad to know that you're okay." I brushed back her hair and she gave me a light smile.

"Okay."

"Why don't you get some rest and I'll wake you up when daddy gets here with the food."

"Okay." I kissed her forehead
She fell asleep shortly before Harry got her with her food.

"Do you want to wake her up?" Harry whispered.

"Nah, she needs the sleep after what's happened today." I leaned up against him.

"You alright?" he wrapped his arms around me.

"Ya I'm just tired." I looked up at him.

"Okay just making sure."

Hadley's POV

Five days later I got to come home with my wounds almost healed and my right leg in a cast, which sucks be use I'm out for the rest of the season. But I'm just glad to be alive.

"DADDY!" I yelled from my room.

"Yea, baby?"

"Can you go grab me some water, please" I batted my eyelashes.

"Sure" he smiled

He came back up stairs with a water bottle.

"Thanks." I gladly took the bottle from him

"How's your leg?" Had said sitting next to me.

"It's better still hurts a little." I looked at my leg elevated by two pillows.

"I'm just glad your alive." he kissed my forehead and I felt one of his tears land one my face.

"Me too." I looked up into his green eyes and gave him a light smile

Hi everyone I have some news that I'm sure guys don't want to hear, I'm planning on wrapping up the book in the next couple chapters. I'm so sorry but I am planning on doing an epilogue in the story and sequel story! So keep your eyes out for it!!!!
