October 12, Friday

Mikey woke up to the familiar silence of his bedroom. He reached under his pillow, checking his phone as he realized he woke up ten minutes earlier than his alarm clock again. He turned the useless thing off, deciding to just charge it instead.

Releasing off a sigh, he stretched, yawned and finally, rose up from his comfortable bed as he fixed his bedsheets and readied his clothes for the day. He walked tiredly towards his bathroom, taking a lengthy but needed hot shower.

He wore some clean pair of boxers, a large black hoodie with matching black skinny jeans before he unplugged his phone, putting it inside his pocket. He grabbed the yellow polaroid camera Brooklyn had recently gave to them for the autobiography project. The rich blonde boy decided to lend his cameras after their remarkable guitar session at the music room last Tuesday. The other one, the red polaroid camera, was with Rye.

Feeling even more generous, the kindhearted blonde even bought new films so they could immediately take pictures, to which, Mikey was so thankful and grateful for. Through the course of the week, he managed to take photos of three different moments that he honestly adored and treasured.

The first one was taken on the principal office's rooftop. It was a photo of him, Jack and Brooklyn. They were casually sitting near the ledge, seemingly not having any care about the world. Jack was the one who took the picture, the angle being a bit off to Mikey but he thought it was alright. The Irish lad was giving his playful, goofy face with Mikey behind him, doing a serious pout that Jack remarked, only him alone, could pull off. Beside him was Brooklyn, who became more acquainted, comfortable and relaxed with the two of them. His arm was slung around Mikey and he, finally for the first time, was smiling wholeheartedly with his teeth showing off.

'The boy has such a beautiful, radiant smile,' Mikey thought.

The second photo was when they were in the music room. Andy has the acoustic guitar slung around his shoulder, nestled around his lap as he gave the camera a point and a playful wink. Brooklyn was beside him, smiling bashfully as he was looking at Jack who was across him. Jack was beaming and laughing, his arms encircling the timid blonde and Mikey's shoulder, who had his tongue stuck out to the camera. It was Rye who took the group photo---he was smiling awkwardly in front, seemingly as if it was his first time to take a group selfie. Looking at the shot once more, Mikey thought it probably was.

Finally, the last photo was Jack and him, hands tangled together as they sat at an empty bench by the park. It was late in the afternoon, the sky was a dark shade of orange and the place was filled with only a few people. The Irish lad decided to bring him out there for the sake of just spending time with him, complaining they never have their 'alone time' anymore. They went to their favorite candy shop afterwards, ordering their favorite sweets as they munch on them before they went separate ways for home. That was the happiest Mikey had been for quite some time and he could not help but sigh gratifyingly.

He grabbed the photo, a smile naturally curving up his lips as he stared at the last picture endearingly.

A few moments later, he felt his phone buzz as he received a new message. He checked it out, grinning when the text was from none other than the man in the photo himself.

'Good Morning! See you in a bit. xx'

Jack texted, sending the raven boy a selfie they took at the candy shop. Mikey beamed, immediately typing a reply back.

'good morning, see you xoxo'

He locked the phone, reverting his attention back to the polaroid film on his hand. He glanced at the other photos posted on his bedroom wall, his mind being flashed with so many beautiful memories as he added the photo on his collection.
