Andy woke up to something abruptly landing on his chest. That 'something' nuzzled and nestled comfortably, leaning closer to him. He opened his eyes and was met by Pepper's yellow piercing ones, staring at him in wonder.
"Good morning, princess," he cooed, beginning to pet his black furry friend. She stroked her face to his gentle hand, licking her right paw mindlessly. Andy witnessed the scene in complete adoration, holding his cat tenderly to cuddle her closer into his face.
"I wish I could just stay here with you forever. To not face school today. People there are really mean and nasty," he complained as if the cat was a person that could understand him.
Surprisingly, the cat licked his cheeks, meowing softly in response.
"Aww, I love you, Pepper. You're really the best," Andy said, kissing her on the forehead and gently dropping her to the floor. The cat flexibly jumped and ran, sneakily storming outside of her owner's room.
Once she left, Andy decided to sit up. He stretched and yawned, quickly fetching for his phone by the nightstand. He glanced at the time, finding out it was already seven o'clock in the morning.
"Great. Looks like I need to get ready for school," the blonde huffed and complained, standing up as he fixed his bed. He opened the door of his gigantic walk-in closet, skimming and examining through his clothes judgingly.
He stared curiously at the displayed outfits, all of which were neatly piled and organized by order and classification. The blonde boy would have to admit, he has way too much clothes for a normal teenage lad.
But what can he do? He has the money and he has the necessity to always make himself look good and notable to others. What best way could that be but wearing expensive, stylish and always fashionable clothes, right?
After spending almost half an hour of picking the perfect outfit, Andy finally chose to wear his favorite pink jumper and two-toned blue jeans for the day. He picked up his latest white Vans shoes, placing it close to his clothes.
He strode towards the bathroom, quickly jumping over to the showers. Adjusting the heater to his preferred temperature, not too hot, not too cold, he leisurely washed and cleaned himself.
As he stood there blankly under the pouring water, he unconsciously thought back of what had transpired yesterday, especially during that uneventful morning class of Ms. 'No Fun' Sophie.
Frankly, he wasn't really planning for those things to happen but sometimes, his chatty mouth just doesn't know when to shut up. Also, Andy did not really mean to make them---especially Brooklyn---upset.
He was frank and bold with his words, never has filter, so they might be hurtful to some others. And certainly, that golden boy Wyatt was just too delicate and sensitive for his own good sometimes. 'For goodness sake, he cannot even take a banter.'
But, the person that really bothered him the most was that geek kid, Rye Beaumont.
It was the fact that this quiet nerdy kid, who just sneers at him through the hallways whenever he sees him snugging some dumb kid, bawled at him and told him to fuck off. Usually, this kind of things never bothered Andy but that time, that moment---it was as if he felt his heart sting a little. Rye's sudden accusation and spiteful remark made Andy felt something that he has not felt for a long time. Hurt.
He can take all the mindless gossips. Take all of the nasty rumors. Enliven his bad image. But apparently, he cannot bear to stand a direct and accusing reply from a nerdy kid that just sits silently at the middle of their shared classes.
