Kitty's Secrets

Chapter 6

A/N:  Here is another chapter and I hope you enjoy it.  

Just a warning, I stayed away from too much of the details for Copter's birth but if you don't like that kind of thing, you may want to skip the first half of this chapter.

Ming POV

I browse through the list of pictures and videos and I don't know where to even start. I do know that I want to see Kit's doctor's appointment while he was pregnant, but my eyes pop to the file labeled Copter's birth. I instantly click on the file and a frightened but happy Kit appears and very pregnant.

Oh, my KitKat is so cute and adorable. I wish I was there.

Kit is walking outside a hospital and Shane's voice suddenly asks, "Are you ready? Today is the day that your baby is born. I haven't asked, but do you have a name picked out yet?"

Kit smiles and looks directly into the camera. "Yes. His name is going to be Copter. Hey, was your girlfriend coming? I know that you can't stand the sight of blood and I want someone to record Copter's birth, so his father can see it one day."

"Ah, no. We broke-up a couple of days ago."

Kit immediately frowns. "What happened this time?"

"She cheated on me with some dude at her work. I just can't seem to find a girl that doesn't treat me like shit. I don't understand. I always treat my girlfriends nice, but I seem to only attract girls who want to break me."

Kit sighs and stops to look at Shane. "Don't worry. Okay. Somewhere out there, there is someone just waiting for you."

"Enough about me. Let's get you in the hospital and checked-in for your C-section. We have something more important than my love life. And that is a baby to be delivered."

Kit instantly flashes a huge smile. He looks down at his swollen belly and begins to gently caress it. "Yes, we do. My precious secret is going to be born." Kit keeps looking at his stomach for a few minutes before asking his stomach. "I wonder who you will look like. I hope you take after your daddy. I miss him so much and then I can look at your face and see a little piece of him."

"I hate to interrupt your moment with your son, but we need to go before we are late your check-in time."

I watch in almost a fog as Kit gets registered and they take him off to a room to get prepped and ready for the procedure. I can't believe how brave Kit is. He did this all on his own, but he was still thinking of me the whole time. Well, you got your wish, Kit. Copter is the spitting image of me along with my personality. Somehow, he was able to master my sad puppy dog face and pout, just like me, too.

As I continue to watch everything, I can't help it as tears start to slowly roll my cheeks as they give Kit an epidural (A/N:  Epidural is a shot in the spine that injects a drug then blocks the nerves.  The shot hurts but soon you don't feel a thing for several hours.) and Kit cries in pain. Shane is no longer taking the video and a nurse is now doing it.

Luckily the nurse is standing back and not showing the exact procedure because I have to admit. I'm like Shane and I can't stand looking at blood.

However, I almost get sick with some of the sounds that I'm hearing, and the nurse is now standing next to Kit's face. "How are you going? Are you feeling fine? You still can't feel anything, right?"

Kit quickly replies, "I'm fine. I just want to see my baby. How is he doing?"

Suddenly a crying baby could be heard. "He appears to be doing fine. The doctor and nurses are going to check him out thoroughly, but do you want to see him before they take him to get examined?"
