Chapter 12

Kit POV

Dr. Smith and the nurses are shocked and don't know what to say. The nurse that touched Ming's shoulder slowly points between Ming and I as she mumbles, "You're together?"

Once again, the cute little Copter leaves everyone speechless as he begins to sing, "Mommy and daddy are getting married. Daddy kissed mommy."

Ming flashes his brilliant smile and nods his head. "P'KitKat and I are engaged, and we are getting married in 12 days. I just can't wait. I have been waiting for this moment for over 5 years and I have been in love with him for over 7 years."

Yes, Ming. You are perfect, and I think I just fell in love with you all over again.

Dr. Smith slowly asks, "Dr. Kit, you're gay?"

I calmly look at Copter and then at Ming. I lovingly smile at Ming. "I love N'Ming and only N'Ming. So yes, I'm gay."

Forth raises an eyebrow and sternly asks, "Is there a problem with being gay?"

Dr. Smith nervously looks at Forth as Forth stares back at Dr. Smith.

Once again Copter just doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut or he has really good timing and is extremely smart for his age. Well, I'm going to lean towards the latter and that he is extremely smart.

Copter proudly points to Forth and Beam, and chirps, "Uncle Forth and Uncle Beam are going to get married soon." Copter jumps around on my lap as he now points to Pha and Yo. "Uncle Pha and Uncle Yo are getting married too. All my uncles are getting married." Suddenly Copter looks at Yo with a hopeful expression. "Uncle Yo, are you going to have a baby too? I want to play with your baby."

Dr. Smith and the nurses are now in complete shock.

Beam chuckles which draws Dr. Smith and the nurses' attention to him. As soon as everyone is looking at him, he puts his hand on the back of Forth's neck and pulls Forth to him as he devours Forth's lips in a passionate kiss. Forth, of course, just follows Beam's lead and pulls Beam closer while deepening the kiss.

Copter instantly giggles and chimes, "Uncle Beam is kissing Uncle Forth!!"

A hush suddenly falls across the cafeteria and I can almost hear everyone shift in their seats, so they can see us, which is then followed by a gasp as they stare at Forth and Beam.

As Copter continues to giggle, I quickly tap Ming's arm. "N'Ming, can you tell them to stop?" I point to Copter who is having more fun watch the whole thing.

Ming suddenly realizes what I'm asking and turns to Forth and Beam. As he taps Forth and Beam, he says, "Guys, stop that for now. You can continue when you get back to your room tonight. I don't want Copgi watching all this."

Forth and Beam slowly and reluctantly let go of each other. Forth looks at Copter. "You weren't supposed to watch that."

Copter slowly tilts his head and looks a little confused. "Why not?"

I quickly save Forth as I turn Copter around to face me. "Because, you are still a child and there are things that children shouldn't see a lot of and one of them is all the lovey-dovey things that adults do when they are in love. A quick kiss to family member is fine but little boys and girls shouldn't do anything more than that. Okay."
