It All Started With A Dare

It was 6:00 am on Thursday October 4th, when my alarm went off, I turned it off before jumping out of bed, I stretched, did my workout and started to get ready for school, I grabbed the clothes I was planning on wearing for the day and turned on the shower. I turned on my favourite playlist and hopped in, once I got out I got dressed and blow dried my hair, I decided to curl it and got out my curling iron. My phone was on the counter and started buzzing like crazy, I picked it up to see a bunch of texts from my best friend Jenna.

Jenna💕 - Good morning sunshine! I was planning on going to Tim Horton's before I pick you up, do you want a coffee?
Alison- You are a life saver!!! Luv u!
Jenna- See you soon!

I put my phone back on the counter and finished curling my hair before applying mascara. I took one last look in the mirror before exiting the bathroom.
I went to my room and put on deodorant and a little squirt of my favourite perfume. I checked the time, the clock on my phone read 8:15 am Jenna should be here for 8:30. I thought to myself. I checked to make sure I had everything I need for school before I sat on the leather recliner couch in the living room and opened Facebook. I scrolled through for a few minutes before I heard the front door open. Jenna walked over to me with my coffee.
"Let's get going before we're late."
Jenna prodded.
"Okay, okay, let's go then."
I grabbed my bag and my coat before making my way to Jenna's car. It wasn't pretty to look at, but it ran and could drive us to school so we didn't have to smell the teenage boys that don't know what deodorant is and the girls that wear too much perfume. I connected my phone to the auxiliary cord and decided to play DOWN TO THE HONKYTONK by Jake Owen. I started to dance in my seat and singing off key. Jenna didn't seem to mind though and started to dance and sing along with me. Within about 15 minutes we reached the school and walked in, ready to start the day. Jenna had art while I had English so we said goodbye and went our separate ways. On the way up to English I decided to stop at my locker to put my coat inside. I got there and opened the door to see pictures of my family taped to the inside, I smiled and put my coat in, I took a quick glance in the mirror to make sure nothing was out of place and was about to close the door before it got slammed shut just inches from my face.  I looked up to find out who the culprit was to see none other then James Astrwag, the schools biggest badass.
