(Lowkey want to give y/n a name...)

violets chapter (:

People think life is easy. It is not and being a dumb teenager did not help. I wasn't the brightest but I definitely tried to maintain friendships and be loyal. I didn't want to lose anyone. I knew what it was like to be an outcast. That was until I made friends with Bella.

I moved to America from Japan at a young age. English was taught to me at an early age and it sounded as if it was my first language moving to the states. Elementary school was filled with judgmental students who like to tease me but I always ignored it. I wasn't going to let my parents know that I was getting bullied. One day I snapped and cried wishing I had friends.

I moved schools and made friends with Bella. She taught me how to be normal. Throughout middle school I barely payed attention to school and mostly on the gossip. I gained a lot of popularity and was always on Bella's side.

"Violet, come on you idiot take a sip!" Bella's words slurred as she shoved a red cup into my shaky hand. I hate this, every moment. I gulped as everyone around us yelled. Chug chug chug.

I closed my eyes and put my hands around the cup slowly bringing it to my lips. The warm beer hit my tongue and felt strong. Disgusting it was horrid. I let it roll down my tongue into my throat leaving a slight aftertaste of hell. I slowly let more and more in until it vanished from the cup.

"Good girl." Bella hiccuped wrapping her arm around me. She handed me another cup before walking over to her current boyfriend. That cup was not my last of the night.

The fogginess of my brain and the heat of the room cause my body to fail. I passed out on someone's couch as the hours passed and it was 1:00 am. The flashes of red and blue lights caused me to moan as I flipped over and hid my face in a cushion.

"Get these kids out of here!" A women yelled causing me to open my eyes. She was older but I could barely remember as I was dragged home.

The next day was brutal.

Screaming and yelling at my in Japanese was fun as my hangover felt like hell.

When I was 16 a new girl came.

Sitting alone in my AP World class staring at the board on the first day was not ideal of me. I usually was gossiping but thankfully Bella had not had this class. I loved her but she was crazy.

"Can I sit here?" A girl asked me. I looked up and saw her e/c eyes and I nodded, "Sure, are you new?"

She nodded, "I'm y/n just moved here last week."

Little did I know this was the girl who would change my life and become my best friend.

I laughed with y/n while walking to the chaotic lunch room. I peek over heads as y/n awkwardly stood next to me.

"What are you doing?" She asked looking at me.

"Finding Bella and I found her." I said dragging the new girl to a table in the center with about 8 kids sitting at it.

Bella, Liliana, Max, Lucas, Beth, Matthew(the Matthew), and Vincent.

Bella looked y/n up and down not even asking what her name was as she sat almost on top of Vincent. Liliana was sitting on the table laughing at a joke Beth must of said, Max was winking at me, Lucas was talking to Matthew who seemed to take interest in the new girl.

"Hey, this is y/n, she is new and really cool." I said sitting next to Bella and Y/N who sat next to me and Matthew.

Lunch was great and I noticed Matthew and y/n becoming friends.

Little did I know what would happen in the future. The amount of alcohol I would consume the drugs I would use and the bad habits I got from peer pressure. Y/n would change me one day. She would make me normal.

Whenever Bella was around I just had to say I'm fine.
