The Agreement

I inferred from last night that Sebastian was a permanent fixature in her life but her hesitance still hurt.

"Alright, if that's what you want. How about you call him to the office tomorrow 11am sharp and we will have this talk. In the meantime, good luck for your new position. "

I tuck a stray hair behind her left ear which arose goosebumps all over her. God! She is beautiful and how much I wanted to kiss her. If I stayed longer in this conversation I may scare her away.

"Goodbye Anastasia, I will see you soon." I whisper to her, taking in her scent while sliding my thumb across her lower lips.

I assigned Ryna, one of my best warrior to take the position of her bodyguard. She was given Ana's current vacant position so as to be around the clock with her. Ryna kept me updated throughout the day. Whenever I could, I would watch her from afar. I still couldn't grasp the fact that my whole world was besides me and soon, very soon, I would wake up to her.

Next day I arrived sharp at 11 along with Jaxon. She was standing near the sofa while the vampire was sitting on it. His entire posture oozed arrogance.

"Get up." My mate politely commanded him.

He looked at her for a moment and then wished me morning.

"Ana, please take a seat."

Then staring at Sebastian I explain him the situation of secretary and the move in. He knows we are mates thus he will not be able to refuse this offer until Ana rejects me herself.

I grip the armrest harder as the pain of her rejecting me gushes through me. If just a thought could pain so much, what will happen. NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!

"Do you want to do it princess?", he asks her.

She looks at me for a moment and replies

"Yes!"

One word and I am on cloud Nine.

"But, I have a condition too." This comes for Sebastian who is now gazing out of the window.

"Until that night, I will stay in your Manor too. Ana's mother was my best friend. I promised to protect her and I stay by her till I'm convinced of your intentions." he says still showing us his back.

I can feel Jaxon's anger seeping out of him. A vampire in the alpha house. It is outrageous. But if that gets Ana to stay with me, the so be it.

"Accepted.", I say with finality in my voice.

In 5 days, there is a full moon. The pack house is near the Hunter Manor. Though  they will not hurt her, it's too soon to risk exposure.

"In a week you'll move in the house. I will pick you all up this Sunday. Be prepared, love".

With that I leave the room. Jaxon has already mind linked the pack about the situation. They are both ecstatic and anxious about the arrival of their Queen and a vampire. Some disagree with my decision, but they know better than to act on it. After all, I am the strongest alpha present. They'll submit to me in just a roar.
