Silver Moon: Only The Beginning

part3 Wild flower

When I awoke I was in the back yard of the abandoned house I currently occupied. Just like the moon rotates the earth wild flower was right there next to me. As the moon rises the sun falls. Wild looked to see if I had awakened, and as soon as I sat upright she drifted to sleep Putting her head on my leg. "Heh," I laughed to my self if she wasn't laying on me I wouldn't have known she was still even here. She was wearing a grass green jacket that matched her pants, and her pants matched her hair. "I'm going to work," I whisper a meaningless notion since she was out cold. I take off my red jacket and place it under her head. My only regret is that I couldn't do more for her. The way she was laying I could tell she was cold after all she's using her tail as a heat source her beautiful light brown skin looking almost blue.(going to work).
We've been on the run for 5 years. From what oh nobody just "Demi human" hunters, though they're after me they just saw miss tree fox here as an added bonus. The sick bastards we where what 9, and 10? Who knows what they were gonna do to us. They aren't merciless though, they followed me to school, but hurt no one though they packed guns so everyone ran from the mear sight of the weapons. Amid the chaos I ducked into the girls bathroom to hide from the men with guns.  Where I found Wild With an over sharpened pencil at the ready. I could tell she was scared so I tried to calm her by saying "I can save you,". Right then I tapped into the power I knew  Was there, what I worked hard since age 4 to hold down, I closed my eyes. Next thing I know I was on all fours facing wild. I still today don't  know how for sure, but wild could hear my thoughts, feel my panic, and she climbed on my back And she said " Don't regret your actions, don't feel guilt, your not a bad person for leaving them, because you want to save me,". That was all I needed to(if you haven't figured it out by now I knew even then they wanted me and what they'd do to anyone who wittinessed) hear after all their after me the only reason to kill anyone else here  was simply silencing the witnesses. I dashed out the bathroom and past mobs of kids screaming and running for their lives. The hunters on either side my only option was past the first Hunter and out the main offices window. Now that I think about it I've felt worse but that glass really hurt! Wild flower told me to run as far as I could, so I did ( I didn't know her personally but she didn't bully me so I brought her I might not have been able to trust her but I did) running for miles as far as I could by the time I stopped running we had went from Washington DC to Arizona. Yeah after I saw the border I passed out. Turns out Wild flower turned into fox form and carried me to an abandoned red house the house we stayed in now. Come to think of it my shift is over and I've been in a flashback the whole time.

I remember when I came to she had a damaged leg, so I tore  my grey shirt and rapped it around  her leg. "How long have you had your powers?," she had asked  for as long as I could remember," I replied keeping my eyes on my task. "You?," I've only known for a week," she said wincing. "Thank you," she said with a look I'd never seen before. True gratefulness. " I should thank you for carrying me you could've left," "and I hadn't  been able to transform so easily nor could I run that long.," "We gave each other strength, because before this I haven't transformed no less carried someone half my size!," We started laughing and we spent the rest of the night beginning to forge an unbreakable bond.
The next day.......

" Hey I've got something to confess I think I know how we were able to accomplish our impossible feat," she was totally shocked, and now curiously excited "how!," "Something my great grandma told me before her passing, each Alpha has an Omega," "guess your my Omega,"
I stated with a slight change grin in the green haired girls direction. "What does an Omega do exactly?," She asked with a cat's curiousity. "Well first off an Omega is forever connected to their Alpha vise versa,." She seemed to be taking this well. "Ok what else?," "Hmm in times of need they can lend each other power and virtually make each other invincible, I think that's what happened to us.," She sat and thought then she got up from the tree stump She had laid on and marched up to me and offered her hand. "If we really do have that connection then let's make a pact I look out for you and you look out for me.," I took it perhaps a little too early "Miss you've got yourself a deal!," That was over 5 years ago........
