hi guys!!
so.. sorry for the longish wait. I really enjoyed writing this chapter! hope u enjoy reading it!
*unedited. (as usual.. ;-)
I closed my locker, making sure to take out the books I would need for my homework assignments. Luckily today I didn't get too much homework, so I guess I'll just finish it all today and get it over with.
"I hope you're getting ready for our date" a voice whispered behind me. I spun around so fast, I think I may have cracked something. Rubbing my now sore neck, I fixed my gaze on Cole Reed , walking down the long hall, towards the detention room. Detention. I had almost forgotten.
I grabbed my book bag and ran to detention. The classroom was empty, all except for the sexy bastard who got me here, and myself.
"Miss Harper? I guess sending you to the nurse with Mr Reed was a mistake"
I just smiled a guilty smile at coach and went to sit down at the far end of the classroom. Away from Cole.
"oh no, Miss Harper, this is a very big classroom, and I don't need to be looking back and forth the entire time checking on you two. Now come and sit up front, right next to Mr Reed." Great. Just great. The universe just loves me today, doesn't it. I got up out of my seat and walked over to sit in the desk besides Cole. The bad influence, the annoying liar, the guy who got me here. Hoorah. "You know if you make that angry face a lot you're going to get wrinkles, not that I mind. you're hot when your mad." Cole whispered to me, smirking. "Thinking about me, princess?"
"You wish" I murmured. "Shhhh" coach glared at me. Oops.. I kind of forgot she was there.
Cole just chuckled lightly and looked away.
All of this is his fault.
That's it!
I'm sick of Cole getting me in trouble for things I didn't even do! If he wants to play, then we are going to play. This time, by my rules.
"Cole" I whispered to him "I didn't know you had such beautiful eyes!"
"What?"
Cole quickly slammed his hand into his face, attempting to fix his shades, but they were in place, as usual. And I just found out Cole Reed has two eyes! So maybe he didn't lose an eye while working in the army at the young age of 12. I've got some pretty weird theories... and even I have to admit to that.
" Mister Reed" coach gave him a warning look. Cole didn't even look at her. He was staring at me. Hmm.. looks like Cole doesn't like being toyed with. He continued glaring at me, until a sudden smile played on his lips. uh oh. maybe I shouldn't have- "EEEEKKKKK!" I squealed, and jumped out of my chair in shock. "He pinched me! The bastard actually pinched me!"
"Miss Harper, Mr Reed, this is not a circus! This is a class room, and my detention room! If there are any more disturbance both of you will be in this class for a much longer amount of time then you intended!" coach yelled.
I just put my head down and stared at the desk for the rest of the long hour in detention. Not once glancing towards Cole. He definitely won this round.
Finally it was 5 o'clock and I could leave detention. The moment coach dismissed Cole and I, I ran out of class so fast, you'd think I saw a ghost. But I'm not running away. I have a plan.
