Peter's POV

I woke up in the hospital room of the Avengers base. Percy and Bruce we're leaning over me.

"Guys, I'm fine!" I made a shooing motion to them. Bruce looked very much like he didn't want to leave, but Percy shot him a glare. Bruce left quickly after that.

"Look, about that thing with you hating Annabeth..." Percy stopped and looked around. He leaned into me and whispered, "Do you think there's security here?" I chuckled.

"Meet me at my apartment," I told him. He nodded.

Percy's POV

"So wait, you're telling me that because I was bitten by a spider, I'll instinctually hate you? And your mom's a GOD?!?!" Peter practically screamed. I'm surprised he's able to keep his secret, because he sure as Hades can't keep ours!

"Goddess, actually," Annabeth said calmly, knitting something in her lap, but somehow still having a conversation without getting her fingers tangled in the yarn. She decided to take up knitting after the war ended. She won't tell us why, but she's really good at it.

"Okay wait. Percy's dad is a god, and your mom is a goddess who hate each other, and you're still dating?" Peter had an odd loki on his face. Like he was thinking, but also angry, but also astonished. Huh. It kinda looks like a new camper's face when they first realize that they are related to myths. Or, well, not myths, but they thought they were myths until then.

We were sitting on Peter's bed, and have been for the last three hours. Of course, Annabeth took the swivel chair from the desk and has been facing us and knitting while telling our story for those past three hours. She already finished the scarf she started yesterday and is onto another project. She won't tell me what it is.

"Hey, how have you guys been doing with your super stuff?" Peter asked, probably trying to ignore the fact we just told him we're half human and myths aren't myths.

Annabeth looked up. "I finished them, actually. We can try them out tonight, if you want," she directed the last part to me.

"You didn't let me help?" I whined. Peter chuckled. "Fine. Let's go be super heroes!!!" I was truly excited. Sure, relaxing and teaching kids at camp is great, but I grew up with adventure. This is going to be the first time I've truly lived in months. Since the Giant War.

***********

"WHY DOES A CHAINSAW HAVE TO BE SO LOUD?" I roared at the top of my lungs. Wars have been fought quieter than this.

Annabeth and I were currently fighting some robbers in a jewelry store. They had a chainsaw for who knows why, but they just turned it on, and now we had to deal with both guns and chainsaws.

I felt a bathroom in the back. Sorry, plumbing and plumbers. I pulled some water out of the sink, and practically drenched the machine in the guys hand. It sputtered and died. Great, now for the guns. Annabeth had gone invisible, so I guess that's for the best.

The room got very dark, or more dark than it already was, being that we were in a closed store at night. I heard a familiar voice, saying something about his domain, but I was a little preoccupied with the fact that my arm hurt. A lot. And was bleeding. Did I get shot when I wasn't looking?

A few minutes later, the robbers were knocked out, but I was too dizzy to think straight. Someone small and dressed in all black caught me and called for his will, whatever that meant. Annabeth's face filled my view, looking very worried.

Well, first day, so far so good.
